What is the sacred heart diet? It is a 7-day eating plan, that when correctly followed, will clean out your system of impurities and give you a feeling of well being. After only 7 days of following this diet plan, you will begin to feel lighter by at least 10 pounds and may be even up to 17 pounds. You will also experience an abundance of energy.

Soup is an important element in the sacred heart diet. What should you have in the soup?

  • 1 or 2 cans of stewed tomatoes
  • 3 plus large green onions
  • 1 large can of beef broth (no fat)
  • 1 pkg. Lipton Soup mix (chicken noodle)
  • 1 bunch of celery
  • 2 cans green beans
  • 2 lbs. Carrots
  • 2 Green Peppers

In the sacred heart diet soup, you may mix salt, pepper curry, parsley or Worcestershire sauce. You may also mix small to medium vegetables in it. Always boil it for 10 minutes, reduce to simmer and continue to cook until the vegetables are soft.

If you want to go on the sacred heart diet, you can eat the soup absolutely anytime you are hungry. There is complete flexibility in this. Eat as much as you want – there are no restrictions on the quantity. This soup will not lead to any addition of calories. In fact, the more you eat, the more you will lose those hard to lose calories. If you are like most people and leave home for office early in the morning, you can even carry the soup with you in a thermos and eat it in little amounts throughout the day.

Apart from this soup, which is an important element in this diet plan, there are other specific schedules for each day of the week. This means that, you have to strictly follow the specific plan for each day in this 7-day eating plan. The foods for these 7 days mainly constitute raw, cooked and canned vegetables; fruits; beef and milk.

Please remember that in these 7 days, you cannot have bread, alcohol, carbonated drinks and fried foods. And you must drink at least 6 to 8 glasses of water every day.
