Home Gym
Home gyms are great for people that like to workout in the privacy of their own home. If you feel intimidated by working out with others and you are starting a weight loss program there are many different home gyms available.
Advantages of a home gym
- Privacy. You don't have to worry about others watching you while you sweat or bother with a public locker room afterwards.
- Flexibility. Your gym doesn't have business hours. If you feel like working out at 5 am or 11 pm, the gym is always open.
- Cost. Once you have paid for your home gym, there are no recurring membership fees. Most dealers of home gyms also offer financing for larger purchases.
- Saves gas and time. Not having to travel to a gym will save fuel and time traveling to and from.
Disadvantages of a Home Gym
- Limited exercises. You are limited to the exercises you can do depending on your equipment.
- Space. Larger peices of home gym equipment require floor space. Depending on the size of your home, this could take room out of your floor plan.
Your personal workout style can help determine if a home gym is the best option for you. If you don't have the space for such equipment, you may want to consider a gym membership.
