Gaining popularity on the Internet is the Lemonade Diet. We decided to find out as much information as we could concerning it. Truth is, we couldn't find much.
History of the Lemonade Diet
The Lemonade Diet was started in 1996 by a lemonade-loving Texan named Harold Gambiner. Harold lost over 60 pounds in 1978 by drinking lemonade and severely limiting his caloric intake. It's not clear what affect the Lemonade had on his weight loss, but Harold swore by it, and a legend was born.
Classification of the Lemonade Diet
The broad classification of the Lemonade Diet is that of "flusher/cleanser". The flush or cleanser diets are usually concerned with dropping weight by flushing toxins from the body.
