I am also an obese person like you but after visiting one site dedicated to weight loss I came to know that why diet dont work for obese people and I reqlize that Yes I was going wrong.

I have met some obese person who has reduced weight after diet plan but has gain weight again. Initial weight loss is not anything but the extra water loss and this is due to the slow down rate of body’s metabolism but most of what eaten stored as fat. When people realize that they have reduced weight they start eating what they were eating and thus resulted in more weight gain then weight loss. This is because their metabolism is still working as slow as when they stopped dieting.
So these are the basics that you need to understand.

Just be sure that you do it healthy. It can be tempting sometimes to want to take "short cuts" , but in the long run just doing the work is better.

Just remember to be patient and think about taking your measurements before you start anything. A tape measure can tell you more than a scale can at any given time."

I was about 211 when I was 15 also. I know how hard it is. My parents got divorced when I was in high school and my Dad moved away.
You feel like why bother sometimes. I bet you know what you should be doing. You need to eat less, eat healthier, and exercise. It's hard, though!
The stress of being overweight, in high school, and having such huge family troubles as you do is overwhelming. Try to put yourself first as much as you can. You deserve to be happy and healthy. Try to think of things that are fun and/or relaxing that you can do instead of eating. I think we use eating as kind of an escape. Believe it or not, I always feel emotionally better after exercise. You won't think that you will...but you will!!!! It will give a lot of self confidence.
Are there other things you can think of? Movies, taking a bath, doing your nails, experimenting with your hair, calling and hanging out with friends are things you can do to try and forget all the troubles for a while.
Hey, at least school is just about out for the year. Try to fit as much active fun into this summer as you can. People at school may be suprised at the new you come fall.

Glad to hear you are making a good start. There is no quick fix for weight loss, you need to choose a healthy eating plan with exercise. I manage the eating but not always the exercise. I have yoyo dieted for years and have now come to realise its no good going for fad diets then returning to my old bad eating habits.

The first week you can lose up to 20 pounds. This is not a fad diet because I did it. You eat constantly and lose. Then after that week, you follow an eating plan. It will be easier to do by this point, because you are motivated to keep the wieght off. Eat fruits, veggies, chicken, trukey, drink a ton of h20 to keep you full. Join the gym or do something you enjoy- rollerblade, walk, play basketball. Good luck! I know you can do it!"
