To all the ladies that smoke!

featherish said: "Thanks for that article. Flavoring cigarettes sounds like a way to lure kids to smoke, too."

featherish said: "They have. Things have changed a lot over the years though. I remember back when I was a kid you used to be able to go into a store with a note from your mother that "gave permission" for the clerk to sell you cigarettes. I think it's weird that they pay for campaigns to discourage people from smoking. If nothing else, people can't say "I didn't know" when they get some smoking related disease."

Heather said: "It isn't surprising that tobacco manufacturers went out of their way to try and find ways to get women addicted to cigarettes By adding chocolate flavoring and other sneaky marketing tricks.."

Heather said: "No problem. I just thought like it sounded like an evil plan to get target women. Adding food flavors to promote products like cigarettes is truly evil  Phillip Morris also owns Kraft foods, one of the biggest food manufacturers in America. I have always wondered about the ethics of their company, and what they would be willing to do to get consumers addicted to food products as well?"

spunkymonkey said: "
That's interesting. I'd never heard of flavoring cigarettes before. .
camel cigeretts have all kinds of designer flavors of cigarettes, the packageing is totally different than normal cigaretts too. they come in little metal tins."

helplesscase said: "Smoking is retarted."

spectrachic311 said: "That's interesting. I'd never heard of flavoring cigarettes before. I know they do it to chewing tobacco because I'll see it at the gas station sometimes...mint or whatever. Like that'll even make it taste any better. :P Seriously, quitting smoking is probably one of the best health moves you can make. Even if you gain a few pounds quitting, it's completely worth it."

Ms.Brender said: "Smoking is sooo bad! Thanks for the info Snap!"

Ms.Brender said: "
Thanks for that article. Flavoring cigarettes sounds like a way to lure kids to smoke, too.
That's true, Heather. And we know they've been targeting kids for years."

missmyth said: "
I think it's weird that they pay for campaigns to discourage people from smoking.
I'm pretty sure that U.S. courts forced them to do this (since they would never do it of their own volition!)."
