I have come to the conclusion that....

pixiechic said: "what helped you come to this conclusion? developing a healthy relationship with food early on in life will help you with it for the rest of your life, just like making exercise and important part of your daily routine. it keeps you young!"

zozzo said: "Great except I have to object to referring to chocolate as "junk food" :D There is nothing better than fine wine, fine cheese and fine chocolate. The tricky part is enjoying them moderately. True, they should be avoided when you're trying to lose weight. But life without chocolate, where's the fun in that? :)"

Elaine said: "Moderation is the key to everything. I find that if I cut foods out of my diet, it leads to a meltdown later. If I HAVE to have chocolate, 1 regular sized Heath bar normally is enough to give me my fix. I would rather do that than binge on a lot of it."

Darren said: "I agree. Chocolate is one the "finest foods" out there. Having it as a dessert occasionally is no problem."

helplesscase said: "My eating habits are very bad not to mention unhealthy. Its like im addicted to food and I eat all the time even when im not at all hungry. I know I shouldn't do this, but I do it anyway. Very frustrating. Anyway, i've decided to change my habits or atleast "TRY" for one week and then see how it goes from there. Here's my plan: -Substitute all drinks for water. Try to drink atleast 6 glasses a day. -No junk food (chocolate, etc;) -Eat breakfast, lunch and dinner. And thats it. All those meals should equal up to around 1200 calories. For exercises I think i'll do 50-100 situps and 20 lunges. Does this sound good? :p"

helplesscase said: "Yeah, thanks. :)"

cvalh said: "if you like to eat a lot, and you can do this, consider breaking those meals up. eat 5 or 6 smaller meals a day - this will keep you satisfied and keep your metabolism revved up. it's pretty easy to pick things that will make this total around 1200 cals also."
