It boils down to calories consumed vs. calories burned. Decrease your calories, fats and limit your breads. The two addicting substances in food are sugar and refined flours(white flours). If you eliminate those from your diet you will be surprised how well you can contol your cravings. Try whole wheat breads and pastas but, remember you have to limit those as well. A great healthy subsitute for spagetti is spagetti squash. You can grow it very easy in your garden or find it in your grocery store. You just cut it in half length wise, seed it out like a pumpkin and wrap each half in alum. foil and bake on a cookie sheet for 35-40 min. and it will be tender. You then take a fork and rake it length wise and it makes spagetti noodles. It is great with marinara sauce. Good luck!"
