I don't think I have any regrets about my wedding day. The ceremony was small and simple and we had a nice reception with our close family and friends. I'm glad I didn't spend a TON of money on it, but it still looked really nice and classy. There are so many ways to save money when you're planning a wedding. We made our own favors and did our own wedding programs. I think the only really expensive thing was the wedding food (I think that's always really overpriced anyway though)."

We are getting married next year on 4-24-2009 :-) I got my dress!!!!!!! Here's a picture of it. That is me trying it on. I ordered it that day and I can't wait for it to come in! It is handmade lace over silk satin. The entire dress has Swarovski crystals all over it!!!! In person, it looks AMAZING!

I booked my reception hall, my photographer/videographer, florist, hair stylist, church, DJ- I am all set! I have't become a bridezilla yet. But, I am sure that will change!
As far as my weight goes, I am still at 123. I have been very good working out, eating right, but pigging out on weekends and this has been working for me.

I did pick my flowers. My centerpieces are going to be very high candlabrums (did I spell that right?) And, for myself, I am picking very light peachy/ivory roses. The girls are going to carry like a burgundy colored rose boquet. I figured that would photograph beautifully- especially next to the black dresses. I always love black. It's so classy. They girls are going to wear pearl necklaces- very Jackie O. I am so excited! I will share with you the details- I love talking about my wedding!!!!"

Yes, my reception hall is a club here in NY. I will post the website- it's so pretty. My sister's were married there as well...

the thing i will never forget is my aunt in law worked in a bakery and i was told that she was going to make a wedding cake that was 3 teir...well all it was , was a homade square cake..I was so mad but didnt let it get me down at the time.....my family said it was wrong of them to do that and they would have bought me a real wedding cake....i think that is what gets me the most when i think about my wedding..how can it be nice if there wasnt a real wedding cake:([/QUOTE]
Awww, you two can always renew your vows and have a gorgeous wedding with your kids there to enjoy it- I think that would be beautiful! I know things are going to go wrong on my day- I think they always do so I am going to just not fret and enjoy my day! I totally understand why you were upset about the cake thing- that would have upset me too- it's a good thing you didn't let it get you down. That day is so important for the bride to enjoy."

That place is just so pretty!!
The pre cana stuff really isn't bad. In fact, it's helpful. Not being a catholic, i was a bit worried myself... but we have a wonderful priest so the meetings haven't been bad. We haven't been to the life choice yet, but that should go fine as well.
