Heather said: "A good reason to redefine "reward"
Rewarding with food is a hard habit to break. Think of other things you could do to reward yourself that would be better, like a manicure, pedicure, a new outfit, a new hairstyle.. if it doesn't involve food, it won't defeat the good exercise that you did!"
UniqueMystique said: "Serendipity.....it's great that you already have a plan! We're all pretty much trying to lose weight, eat healthier, and get more active....so, we're all doing this with you! ;) But...it doesn't hurt to have a buddy on the side either. Good luck!"

Did someone say "FUN"?
*Cranks up the music*"

And don't forget....keeping your hands busy with something else. Makes it hard to eat if they can't pick up food. :D"
UniqueMystique said: "50 calories at a time, eh? I'd never heard that. It is something to think about though."
Holly said: "Hi again! I just asked in the into section if you have goals and a strategy...and you do! Awesome.
Good luck to you!! I think you can consider everyone on this forum a workout buddy! We're brutally honest, that's for sure. ;)
I think we try to make a healthy lifestyle as fun as possible. :)"
Holly said: "Evening time is tough. I can understand that!!!
You'll do fine tonight ;) . Make a list for yourself and stay busy until bed time. That has been working for me lately."
Holly said: "You said you were about 20 right?
What college do you go to? If you don't mind saying, that is. ;)"

Qian said: "Great Goals. Good luck at accomplishing them.
We are all trying to drop the lbs, so you check on us and help us stay motivated, and we'll do the same for you."

The hardest part for me is the evening ... I do pretty good all day long, but then night comes and it seems like I just screw it all up! Thats what happened last night , but tonight I've just got to realize I CAN DO IT and no one else is gonna do it for me right? :o so ... one day at a time!"
serendipity20 said: "Holly & everyone else ... yeah that is true - i need to keep busy! I think, 'ok, I worked out, so I can have a couple of hundre calories of (insert craved food here!!) . My doctor reminded me that people gain weight 50 calories at a time, and that exercise itself should be the reward, not more food. Um, yeah...... ;)"
