When gaining muscles, eat more protein, it helps you feel more full. I myself am thinking about starting a whey protein drink from the gym. I am about at the same point, kicking it up to an hour a day of exercise, biking and workouts. I also use my new exercise ball as well 20 minutes a day and weight training. I noticed that if I don't eat more than 1200 calories, my body stays at the same weight. Try ice water razor, put a bottle of about 2 inches of water and lay it down in the freezer. Fill it up and away you go. It seems to keep me more hydrated when I work out, plus I fill it again and the water is still nice and cold even in the hot sun."

Razor said: "So I got told off on here how I give too much info and do not share enough (just kidding. I know I did not get told off) So I thought I would share what I decided to do. I have decided to take some drastic measures in losing body fat. New people to eating right and working out = quick ass weight loss. More advanced people to eating right and working out = have to get strict as hell to even lose a couple of pounds. I am going to Puerta Vallerta in June and I will damned if I can't wear a bikini. Of course that is not the only reason. It seems no matter what I do I can not get below 160 on the damn scale. So here is my plan until June
Breakfast - EAS Carb Control protein shake - 110 calories
Snack - EAS Carb Control protein shake - 110 calories
Lunch - Small portion of leftovers (lean meat and veggies) - 250-300 cal. tops
Snack - EAS Carb Control shake - 110 calories
Dinner - Small portions of lean meat and veggies - 250-300 cal. tops
I will have to drink HELLA water to keep my hunger down. I will also be snacking on sugar free Jell-O for some substance. This will top out at maybe 930 calories for the day. I will let everyone know how it goes like energy levels, sleep, and hunger and so forth. I really think this measure will shock my body out of maintence stage and start dropping fat. Of course i know my limits so I will know when to quit. I do not recommend this for ANY of you as you are all pretty much beginners and do not need this sort of shock because your bodies are being shocked enough right now. I am guessing my water intake will have to be at 1.5 - 2 gallons of water a day. I drink a gallon now so that should not be too hard. I will also do better at taking my vitamins everyday. Wish me luck!"

I think that is from mostly being a woman. I am hungry right now with some hunger pains so I will go get my shake. Then it's dinner for me =)"

Thanks for posting. Like I said before I do not recommend this to just anyone. I am well over my intermediate stage of health and nutrition. I will consider myself quite advanced in it. I think that I have more than enough muscle mass to help me along with this low calorie thing for a couple of weeks. All the time I have been working out and eating right I know my metabolism needs a shock and can handle one like this. Thanks for your concern!
Today:
I did great! I have not messed up today, and I went to walk for 2 miles at the gym at lunch. Although there are dinner suggestions in the air that I have not decided about I will be good through the night. Hunger is not really an issue. I got hungry at the gym but it was time for me to have my lunch. I am drinking so much water that hunger is not a factor. Actually right now I am full and I keep jamming in the water."
Razor said: "Today is a new beginning. This is what I told Deeder (my girlfriends pet name) this morning. She wuit smoking today and we decided that this is a new beginning because,
1. She is smoke free from now to forever. I will not accept excuses.
2. We decided to quit drinking (for the most part) until our trip.
3. No more excuses on our diet.
It's more important than anything now to keep her diet clean because she is no longer smoking. That is what led tomy intial weight gain.
We have to go to the store and get shakes and I have to miss the gym again today because my kitty is sick and I have to take him to the vet. We will walk the neighborhood tonight though!
So my meals today are
breakfast: Chicken - green beans
Snack - Asparagus
Lunch - Chicken - green beans
Snack - Asparagus
Dinner - ???"

Razor said: "HOLY MOLY! It was the best ever. I ate everything in sight and also drank to me hearts content. It was a blast. I coudl have stayed a couple more days for sure.

i can do it~!! plus in the summer me and my friends go to this thing called the canteen...its at camp dearborn..its a outdoor dance...every night...and ive never been able to have that much fun cuz ive always been so self consious about my body.
and at the beach(i live by a lake) they always tan...but i wear a tee and shorts instead of a bathing suit! i really want to be able to wear a bathing suit and not be inbaressed... help me please!!"

I've cut my calories really low before (wasn't to succesful for me, didn't have the discipline) and only a person with a strong sense of self control can do that. I know that you can. Let us know if we can help."
