Two things i wanna know about you!

cvalh said: "When possible, raquetball, because I love the game. Otherwise, rowing machine. I don't intentionally buy inspiration clothes. Like others, I do havve some older things, though."

UniqueMystique said: "Swimming! It's fun....easy....works all muscle groups....and you're wet so no one sees you sweat!!!! Hehehe!!!!"

spectrachic311 said: "My favorite exercise is running outside because it feels like I'm accomplishing more when I have a scenic route and a destination to get to. I put some really energizing songs on my MP3 player and I just run and forget about everything else. When I was losing weight, I went on shopping trips every month where I'd just try on very expensive clothes to see what they looked like on me. I never really bought them, but I liked to know what size I was wearing. Once I reached my goal weight, I did buy a few pairs of really good jeans and cute shirts and stuff. I also bought all new undies...VS undies that were cute and flirty instead of the "granny panties" I used to wear."

spectrachic311 said: "Hey, welcome Cygnus! Sounds like you know what to do to lose your extra weight. I think most of us DO know, it's just a matter of actually doing it that sucks. Hope you can find some motivation here and maybe share some tips of your own. So, boxers or briefs? LOL, just kidding...gotta love the undies discussions."

whateverhobb said: "I would say my favorite exercise is the treadmill, I can really zone out to the music and I feel like I really get a workout. Also I used to love the stairmaster--yes I'm wierd LOL. I have clothes that I used to fit into as inspiration, but I don't believe that I have actually bought an outfit as inspiration."

xlilphishx said: "I love the elliptical in the gym. It burns calories fast and I get one hell of a workout. When I was heavier, I used to by jeans that were too small for me. That was the biggest inspiration."

want2losew8 said: "my favorite exercise is the treadmill because i put on my music and walk away thinking about things and before i know it the timer is going off and i am done. i am finally back at the health club exercising again. i did not go out to buy any inspirational clothes but i have a shirt hanging on my door that my 7 year old son (then 6) picked out and bought for me for my birthday last year because he wanted me to look pretty. He asked me the other day why i do not wear it. i told him that mommy has to lose some weight to wear it and he is now encouraging me to lose weight."

yoyo said: "Hi My favourite exercise is gardening.... I usually spend about 30 to 50 hours a week working in it.... Late February to Early November..... I have over 2000 different plants so it takes a lot of intensive work.... I have over 100 terracotta pots to move about weekly after I have planted them up in the spring.... that covers my weight lifting for the year... I am forever prunning plants and shrubs, dead heading etc so that covers my bending & stretching exercises..... I also have to dig, rake and hoe all the time .......so that covers my cardiovascular exercises...... and hundreds of other tasks including mowing the lawn and doing the edges ...... all while watching the bees working, and the butterflies.... not to mention the birds...... and the plants growing and most of all, the wonderful perfumes from different parts of my little piece of heaven...... Cheers"

I saw some posts about granny panties and figure this is a good place to introduce myself. I'm a guy btw, dont let my sissyboy screen name fool ya. Oh, and the avatar is Senator Larry Craig. No, I'm not gay, I just find the picture amusing. Anyhoo, I like walking and the treadmill. I am currently having some health problems and have been very inactive. I am hoping to change that, and lose a substantial amount of weight. The weight is beginning to become a major issue in my life, so here I yam.:th_dblthumb2:
Welcome to Featherish, Cygnus. How much weight are you trying to shed?"

mahesh67 said: "I do my stationary bike every day. 1) Because i can afford it and 2) it is indoors so weather does not matter"

Thin_On_The_Inside said: "*what is everyone's favorite exercise, and why? mine is walking outdoors with music. the time goes fast with some upbeat tunes, i actually FEEL like moving to the music lol. when i try to exercise inside on the tradmill, it is too easy to give up when i start getting sore, whereas outside, i've still gotta get home, i have a destination, and it feels like you are doing more walking in different conditions eg. uphill, downhill, grass, bitumen. *does anyone else buy "inspiration clothes?" i'm not talking about the clothes you have that you use to wear and want to wear again, i mean stuff you buy and put somewhere you can see everyday to inspire you etc. i bought a louis vuttion bikini off ebay for $30, i also have a skirt and shorts i am dying to fit into, and taking things to the extreme, i bought my dream wedding dress on ebay for $40, in the size I WANT to be! i told my partner i'm not marrying him untill i can fit into it!!!"

DrCOOL959 said: "LoL Spectra/2Littlemessmakers: Speaking of granny panties I can totally relate, after losing a bunch of weight I definately needed smaller underwear and not only due to just the underwear flappin in the wind lol! *cough* OP: My favorite exercise is hiking, 2nd favorite is the push up. I like hiking because of the hills(inclines), it is an energy multiplier. The amount of calories burned walking flat land is not shabby but when your torqueing up a hill its incredible how much energy that requires. Due to this requirement I can go on a few long hikes a week and I eat like a king the rest of the week, in the ballpark of 3000-4000 calories a day to maintain my current weight."

**Shorti** said: "my favorite exercise is hiking....but since all areas around me are flat hiking is very boring and ends up like just walking around in circles....*L* and my inspiration clothes are actually underwear! *LOL* So when I was thinner I invested a lot of money into some awesome Victorias Secret underwear....shortly later my arse got too big to wear them even though they were practically brand new. And since it isnt recommended to give away underwear I couldnt BEAR to get rid of them when I cleaned out my "too small" clothes. So there they sit, stacked up, ready to go when I can wear them comfortably again...*sigh* I felt to cute and sexy in them...and now I have granny panties, comfy...not so sexy. ;) I know its weird but I miss them."

wifemommycoed said: "I love how I can always leave here with a smile on my face! My favorite exercises are walking outside and swimming, unfortunately it is January so I have to stick to the treadmill and exercise videos. As to the clothes, after three kids I never buy clothes that are my "goal' because I'm pretty sure pregnancy shifts body weight into unknown contortions! I don't even know if I would by in the Misses, Juniors, or Petite dept. when I am at my goal weight! I do however notice when my clothes are fitting better or are even too big. I may go buy a couple things to wear on my way down to my goal. I'd love to go on a shopping spree when I hit my goal weight."

glowingmoon said: "My favorite exercise is jogging on my treadmill...I know, I need to change up my routine a little bit. But I do strength train though!! Next semester I'm taking weight training (so my strength training routines will be more consistent), pilates, and jazz dance. My inspiration clothing would have to be a dress I bought last year for my boyfriend's junior prom coming up. (I'm 18 and a college freshman; he's turning 17 and a high school junior) It's a short, hot pink Jessica McClintock dress with a sweetheart neckline. It fits me OK but it's kinda tight on the tummy area...so I just want it to fit perfectly. If all else fails, I have girdles!"

penny6 said: "i love to walk. i love the fresh air in my lungs and all the different seasons."

joshysgirl said: "my fave exercise is pilates, i always feel really "in shape" after a good work-out even if i'm not, lol. i don't have any inspiration clothes really, hell, i can barely afford clothes that i can wear now! i guess i do have a plaid mini that i wore for halloween 4 years ago when josh and i first got together...it might fit now...i should see and then wear it for him :)"

joshysgirl said: "lmao...slinky little undies are out for me after having a kid! i don't care to have my muffin top spilling out of my undies!"

twinewoman said: "My favorite exercise is hands-down riding horses. There is nothing quite like going out really early in the summer (5:00 am), before it is hot and before the bugs come out, to exercise my horses and myself. It really sets my tone for the day. Even if it is hard to peel myself out of bed at 4:30, it is worth it. I don't specifically buy inspiration clothes, I have enough of them kickin' around from when I was 25 pounds lighter! I do keep my favorite pair of jeans out in plain sight to remind myself how badly I want to be wearing them."

I see some of you are cut-ups, I should fit right in.:th_dblthumb2:"
