I started yesterday and notice that although it did not look like it would work or that It would be a bit easy,I tried it out. After 30 minutes of moderate ball workout, It felt like I went to they gym. It is not as easy as some may think it is. I bought mine for 12.99 at XSCargo In. It came with a pump, nozzles and it is a deluxe sized, large blue ball. I know at walmart they are $9.oo canadian but they are smaller sized and don't come with a pump. They do come with instructions and a complete picture poster of exercises. I just looked on the internet and printed out instructions because my ball did not come with any. I know that this will help with my exercising on days the gym is closed."

The ball seems sturdy enough for up to resistance of up 300 pounds http://www.fitnesswholesale.com/tbs.htmo My dad has a 76.00/30 inch and he is 5 foot 7 and 200 pounds. It seems that there are different balls for height, weight and some are more expensive than others. Body builders use them so I cannot see why you can't buy the regular blue one, this one comes in different sizes. 89.00cm/35 inch 76.00cm/30 inch 66.00cm.26 inch Look for sturdiness, that is what I would suggest. Just don't blow it up firm, otherwise you won't have as much play with the ball. If it is too firm, I can see that the only thing that would happen is that the plug comes out, but it takes a fair bit of resistance to pull it out reguardless. I was doing some bouncy excercises and it seemed to hold my weight fine without any issues of stability or whatnot."

Heather said: "Exercise balls are very versatile and are fun to do. I went to our half price book store and bought a book on all of the different things you can do. I like to work my inner thighs by putting it between my knees and squeezing! A super way to tone up!"

Heather said: "It's good to use just for stretching, too. I love to lay back on it and stretch out my arms and legs as far as they will go. Normally it will crack my back in just the right places."

Qian said: "What is the diameter of the ball you are using? Is there a weight limit? I ask this so I know the type of weight I could lift on it.That might be a good way for me to do a few more excercises at home. It's alot easier to be upstairs working out with the kids, than taking them to my weight room and working out."

Qian said: "Thanks, very informative. I am gonna need to try that. Very Cool"

I have used the ball at the gym before (when I could afford to go :( ) and I always used it to do my crunches. I feel every stomach muscle working when I used the ball for my crunches rather than just lying on the floor and going at it.I am also excited to see what other exersices I can learn. The ball comes with a pump and instructions on diffrent exersices."
