I belong to another forum, about dogs, and people there really put other people down and make them feel really bad. I also have noticed everyone is here to help everyone else, kinda feels like a big family. Thanks for being so welcoming and warm to me. I was pretty down on myself for a few days there and after finding this place, my mood has changed.....so Thank you!! :D"

I was a bit scared to post at first because I figured that since I'm from the caribbean and everyone else was in America I would not be able to identify with any one. But I just found out that all you need to fit into a place is one common goal with everyone else. Somethings you mention are a bit foreign to me(just a tiny bit) But I'm still able to identify and fit in because we talk one universal language here, and that is the language of how to get fit the healthy way. I like that there are successes of others to inspire me and people who struggle too (and I don't feel like I'm the only one). I really like that the people here (esp those who are regulars) are here for the right reasons and see weight loss and health in the same way that I do. You can't get that on any other forum! I love that everyone shares, is willing to put themselves out there emotionally... It's just a great place with great people!"

Well since you are asking for one thing I suppose I would have to say its the family-like comradery amongst us all. There is a cohesion here that comes from a mutual understanding of the struggle we have all fought on one level or another. We all can relate to each others successes and failures on a personal level so the emotional involvement is high. We all generally want the same things and we are fighting the same foes..together.
