If your feet hurt, it makes your whole body feel miserable."
Heather said: "Don't forget how important it is to take care of your feet!
In ancient acupuncture practices, the foot has many points that can help improve your health and well being.
Here is a picture of acupuncture points on your feet.
So go ahead and get that pedicure or foot massage, you'll feel lots better!"
Heather said: "I have never had acupuncture, but in my martial arts class we do spend time massaging our feet before class starts.
I enjoy it, I think that it helps to awaken your inner self a little bit.
Not to mention the fact that our feet have to carry us through our lives.
Keeping them healthy will help assure an active life!"

UniqueMystique said: "I've never, ever had problems with my feet until last year. I had a dog jump up on me and I stepped off the side of my 3 inch heels. It hurt for a moment...then I forgot about it. A few days later I had a dull ache in it and had my husband rub it out for me. In the process, he rubbed across my heel and I had never felt such pain....not even in childbirth! Turns out that I pulled a ligament in my foot when I stepped off my shoe and that caused me to have a heel spur. It's still there but much, much better now. You don't really know how much you value your feet until it hurts to even walk."

I have always been interested in accupuncture/accupressure. Has anyone ever tried it, and did it work?"
Sassysurfnic said: "I don't know if I could do acupuncture. I am so afraid of needles  and the last time I had one was when I was about 18 and getting one of my many shots for college. I passed out right as the nurse was giving me my booster shot :o
Anywho, dancers have crazy scary feet. They are so scabbed and blistered that we need a couple of pedicures to get them normal looking again! I got a pedicure once and I was freaking out to the lady because I didn't want her to remove my calluses(for pointe/dance reasons). Once I stopped over-reacting  I absolutly loved it! I think the massage chair was the best :p"
