Kat_the_Amazon said: "Lots of good stuff has been happening to me in the past few days. We are buying a house. We have 100% financing. The inspection is today at 1pm, so keep your fingers crossed for me! My parents are on a wonderful mediterranean cruise and having a great time. My mom really deserves this vacation! We are leaving for vacation this afternoon. I'm going to Maine and visiting family that i haven't seen in years. Haven't been to Maine in the summer since i was 16 or 17. Last time we went it was during christmas when i was 19. We'll be staying in our family cottage. It's myself, my brother, his wife, and my fiance that are going. I can't wait to see my grammy! We'll be gone until the 9/10th. This this our first REAL vacation- leaving for over a week! No mini vacation (long weekend vacations..).. I'm losing weight. The apartment is almost spotless.. just the bathroom and the bed needs to be done. Things are very good right now."

Kat_the_Amazon said: "We set the closing date for july 31st. I just got back from the inspection.. and it was a little worse than expected. There are some structural issues AND the square footage is less than what is advertised. SO in reality they are offering $100/sf, not $75/sf. That's a $10,00 difference.. SO we'll see. Still trying not to get excited about it. We're leaving in about 30 min. and i still have some stuff to pack!"
