UniqueMystique said: "It's really not that strange here in west Texas....even the snowcone shops have pickle snowcones!!!! And to make it even more disgusting for you....the snowcone shops put gummy worms in the snowcone!!! (and I dunno why!!!)"
UniqueMystique said: "
That is wild. Do you ever get that flavor? I would think it would be a once in a lifetime order. maybe the gummy worms make eating it more bearable.
Ummmmm....NO! I get Cinnamon, Banana, or Coconut if I get one. My fav is Cinnamon. And I don't eat the pickle pops either. I do that for my kids."

I don't eat turmeric much, but I may start eating it. What's it taste like?"
DBrew said: "Curry and cinnamon are my faves out of those two. I used to really like oregano, but started using Basil in my sauces and liked that much better. I do not think my family is too big on the curry so I do not use it often enough. This could motivate me to do so. I used to try to eat 1tsp. a day of Turmeric. I do not know how I got away from doing it but maybe I should start again."
DBrew said: "It is really hard to explain the taste of Turmeric. If you have ever had any Indian foods, it is likely to have been in it. It is an ingredient of Curry powder, I believe, and Curry poder has a nice mild spicey taste and a beautiful aroma. It is almost incense-ish.
I love cinnamon, too! I have lost mine somewhere in my cabinet and am REALLY missing it. I just went grocery shopping today and forgot it, of course. that is the story of my life when I shop with both kids! My 2 year old threw my blueberries out of the cart and they went everywhere. Then, he managed to grab an iced tea of a shelf and tossed it! He kept hurting himself on the cart and my 8 year old does not watch where he is going and runs into every one and thing. I guess it is funny now that I am not there, but it was a major stress at the time. Cinnamon next time I guess."
DBrew said: "I never knew that Karen. I am not a pickle fan-at all! When I was little, I did love to drink the pickle juice out of the jar. That is just so gross to me now. Thinking about soggy pickle juice bread is not a splendor either.
Did anyone else here like pickle juice or am I the only weirdo?"
DBrew said: "Now I think pickle pops is pushing it, UM. Ha! I never thought I would meet anyone who did that. Do you make tomato juice pops, too?"
DBrew said: "That is wild. Do you ever get that flavor? I would think it would be a once in a lifetime order. maybe the gummy worms make eating it more bearable."
DBrew said: "There are probably cinnamon teas out there. Celestial Seasonings makes a bunch of wacky flavors. They are the teas in really beautiful boxes at the store.
Now, as for making yourself, it might be hard for the cinnamon to mix in. It would probably just form a huge clump in the middle of your tea.
UM, a cinnamon snow cone sounds good. I have never had."

lakelady said: "Don't forget PICKLES 'brew! You can't make pickles without turmeric. That's what makes them yellowish-green in the middle. OK, I guess you can make bread and butter pickles without it...but I don't."

Nope, not the only weirdo. I love it too."
