Supplements, etc.Supplements, etc.

If you are eating a balanced/healthy "diet" you should be getting all (most) the nutrients you need. Unless you had problems were a doctor found that you were deficient a certain vitamin/mineral/element (whatever) I wouldn't worry about taking supplements.
Although from what I've read of the supplements you take I don't think any of the ones you take would be possible to suffer toxicity, but at the least your spending money on the supplement industry when I don't think you need to.
I mean if you notice a day and night affect then thats cool, but don't take a bunch of stuff because some friend who doesn't know what they are talking about said it would do all kinds of things for you, OR! much more worse, what some supplement company claimed it would do.
It reminds me to much of the gimmicky diet pills, and also of the "placebo effect" some people get taking a pill that may not be doing anything for them but they want to believe that it is having an effect. =(
Just my thoughts on the topic."

Norwegian Kelp - Helps thyroid gland function, stimulates the metabolism.
Chitosan - Special fiber which is able to "soak up" or absorb anywhere from six to ten times its weight in fat and oils.
Anyone have any experience in these supplements? I just went out and bought them and will be trying them out tomorrow when I restart my weight loss regime, along with my Apple Cider Vinegar. I'm hopeful they'll make somewhat of a difference."
