Stress used to make me run for food too! I think it's a common response. Good on you for recognising that - well done!!! :) Try to find other ways to cope with stress. Anyone here have any ideas?
I think physical activity helps me.

Daily weigh-ins aren’t such a bad thing if they help you to recognize how your weight naturally fluctuates throughout the day. Your weight can change in response to everything from what you eat and drink to whether or not your bladder and bowels are empty. Putting these weight fluctuations into perspective can help you avoid freaking out the next time you step on the scale after eating dinner, only to find you’ve gained three pounds. Food and beverages obviously weigh something, so don’t be unhappily surprised when the scale shows it. You will not gain three pounds from eating three pounds of food and drink; many foods are partially indigestible, especially fruits, vegetables and whole grains, which will be excreted from the body. Water from the beverages you drink will also be either used to maintain fluid balance within the body or excreted as urine. The calories from the foods you do digest will either be burned for energy or put away in storage. Weight gain comes into play when food or calorie-laden beverages are eaten in excess, and the extra calories are stored in the body as fat. So what really counts are the number of calories you eat and not the number on the scale after you eat. Weigh yourself in the morning before you have anything to eat or drink and after you empty your bladder and bowels. This is your true weight, and the one you should be comparing your weight loss goals to."

Why did you eat the egg? Boredom? Once you have worked out why you ate the egg, think of other things that you can do when you feel that way again. For example, when I am stressed I reach for salt and vingear potatoe crisps. I do not do that anymore, instead when I am stressed I go for a walk, drink water or simply turn the radio up very loud! I hope that helps.... has worked for me!

Walking is great exercise if you cannot afford the gym this week. Also, do you have a bike?

When you spy something that tempts you, run toward it quick and stuff it down the garbage disposal before you have time to think. It does more good in the garbage than it does in you! It's not wasting food since it would actually do you harm to eat it, it's the same as throwing out poison in that case. I did this when I went on MY diet 9 years ago, and I had 2 teenagers and a 6 year old at home at the time. It didn't take everyone very long to figure out I was serious! I lost 100 pounds in 7 months!"

So i was in the house waitting for a new friend to come round. I went into the kichen to make a drink just sore an Easter egg and eat the lot 217g egg :eek: cal per 100g 495.
My friend was ment to come round 1:30pm but turned up at 4:10pm and stayed for a matter of 30 min.
Rowan my son has gone back to school today. I feel lost. When i went to fech him from school. The techer called me over to tell me. A girl got his glass of his face and bent them to a point of no mending them. :angry: SO now i have to go to town and get him a new pair of glass In the morning. Take him out of school for the morning.
I feel so mad at my self. I yet again have over eaten. why oh why can't i just say no and put it down.
I am never going to lose this week :sad010: and its all because i have not got that will power to just put the box down and walk out of that kichen.
I have put them out of site now so i cant see them.
