Whewee.. A 2 day cruise!Whewee.. A 2 day cruise!

My husband and I are going on a FREE 2 day cruise on Royal Caribbean's newest ship, the Liberty of The Sea, the beginning of May.. I'm so excited!
This ship is decked.. it has a waterpark, a surfing thing called the Flowrider and a climbing wall... not to mention everything else - food, drinks and entertainment!
We've never been on a real cruise before, so I'm even more determined to lose more of this weight before sail the ocean blue.
I just had to share this news because I'm so pumped!"
Heather said: "Thanks for all the kind words!
The cruise is on May 15 and boards in Miami at noon. That gives us over a month to prepare for it..
..and Lakelady.. I don't think that's the one we're talking about.. it's a brand new ship that just started taking reservations. I was checking out the specs of it and it has 15 levels!
I'm definitely going to try the rock wall and the flowrider.. just to say I did it!
I'm also welcome to any tips or advice any seasoned cruisers might have.. What should I pack? I'm assuming a dressy outfit or two might be in order for dinner or whatever.. anything I'm missing?"

Also pack all your favorite toiletries. people don't, thinking, "I'll buy them on board", and you can too, if you wanna pay $25 for a bottle of shampoo! There's literally nothing you'll need that you can't buy on board IF you don't mind paying highly inflated prices! Other than that, there's no bad thing I can think of about a cruise. Have a glorious time!
Thanks for the tips, Lakelady. I wouldn't have known that toiletries weren't in the cabin.. spending a fortune for shampoo doesn't sound like fun!
I'm going to bring motion sickness meds, just in case. I've been on boats before and haven't felt bad but maybe this will be different? I've never been on board for 48 hours.."

It sounds like a really fun cruise. I am afraid of cruises, but my parents went on one and really had a wonderful time. I hope you will, too.:)"

I'm sure you will have BLAST! Sounds like so much! You'll have to post pics when you get back!"

I saw that surfing thing on tv. You have got to try that! =) Essentially for those that don't know, it is an endless manufactured wave that you can ride!
Looks like a blast/hope you have fun, and DO bring sea sickness meds/patches just in case!"

I have always wanted to take a cruise of the mediterrean, maybe some day!"
