DLT said: "Thanks but I am not a vegetarian. Actually, the diet is scaled after the Mediterranean food pyramid, that's why there is minimal meats. However, if you which to modify the diet and add back meats you could as long as they are the lean chickens and seafood types. Ofcourse this would have to replace some other categories like the nuts and carbs, don't know how it would work. I do know that once you have reached your goal weight, then you can up quantities and carefully monitor until you are able to maintain your weight on a weekly basis.
I've got some great diet dessert recipes if you are interested!"

The one that I have has an infuser so you can add fresh herbs to give them flavor.
Cooking them stir-fry style is always good, too. You can add sauces to give it some zing."

Holly said: "Are there any vegetarians out there? I'm guessing DLT is almost one since his "Fat Race" diet calls for very little meat. I've been following that diet and am really enjoying myself. I haven't weighed myself yet, but plan to soon. I'm trying not to base my mood on the scale, something I've had the tendency to do in the past.
Anyway, if anyone has any vegetarian recipes to share (since the dessert ones have been so yummy lately), I would love to hear them.
I'm not a strict vegetarian, but I never eat meat at home. I'll sometimes order chicken if I'm at a restaurant, but other than that, I just eat it at other people's homes."
