fun, reliving childhood activitiesfun, reliving childhood activities
shrkntz said: "Is there any childhood activities you liked to do?
I loved to skip rope and hopscotch."
shrkntz said: "You can do them anytime, anywhere. I loved to jump off of 15 feet piles of hay bales and land in grain on my friends farm. I love to skip rope, bike, play socker, hockey, football, tag with my boys and fetch with my new dog. I just think it is great how we all have a inner child to do fun things still and not just do the 'adult' thing and go to the gym and workout. I cannot believe how many calories can be burned off of doing other things. It is neat. Did you know you burn 110 calories driving a vehicle for 1hr 30 min and you burn 300 calories on a hour bike ride around the park. I love biking."

Now that's my kind of fun! I lived near a good creek and was surrounded on
three sides by a wooded mountain (live in TN, so mountain=very large hill).
I used to play with my friend Tim in the creek. We'd catch minnows and
crayfish by hand and make dams. Of course, we also built a fort on the hill.
It was pretty nice. One time I slept there by myself. It was very peaceful,
as it rained and I was protected by something I had built.
Anyway, sorry to have rambled on like that. I'm feeling nostalgic right now.
I hope everyone has a great...sleep! :)
P.S. I feel like driving with the top down right before it starts raining in a
spring thunderstorm; listening to the U2 song, Beautiful Day. I hope
someone knows what I mean."

My sister and I used to have all kinds of contests as to who could do the neatest tricks and get the most jumps in a row. Bonus, I still jump rope now...it's great cardio. ;)"
