What does "Hungry" mean to you??

shrkntz said: "Hunger to me is when my stomach grumbles and I look around for anything to eat. I also use it as a great tool to bust my craving for sweets and carbos. I find that water helps ease the immediate need to just chew fast and make bad choices on what I eat when I get hungry."

Food is definately on the brain ( I make pretty healthy choices here, too) and 3. I AM STARVING, I get light headed, cranky, etc (This is where I get that little piggy instinct side of me coming out). I find I'm much much better off if I don't let myself get there. Actually about half an hour ago I got food on the brain, and instead of letting it get past that, I went and ate 3 pickles and a cup of green tea. Worked wonderfully! Pickles are a great snack by the way, I sometimes forget about them, but they are super low cal and taste great. Leah"

I try to eat sensible things at well-spaced intervals throughout the day. But if I do something very strenuous or miss a meal, I get CRABBY, and I feel like I could blackout if I stand up too fast...and I get a headache and my tummy feels like it's going to kill me."

This usually happens on the weekends, and most of the time i can get passed them, but sometimes I just give in and treat myself to 1 thing i was craving, and the craving hunger passes. By the way, pickles are a great snack."
