Your body doesnt really settle down til then, but being overweight makes you feel terrible, so eat healthily and exercise, and please please please dont get too caught up in it all. Im a psychiatric nurse and have worked with people with eating disorders, and while im not saying any of you have one, sometimes its easy to get pushed over the edge coz you want to fit in and look the part-so give yourselves a break and enjoy these years while you still can!!!!! :) :p"

~Kar_yne~ said: "Motivation is the key, at your age i lost 30lbs just by cutting down portion sizes and making healthier choices. Instead of eating a huuuuge plate of spaghetti, have half of that, same with the sauce. Cut everything that you eat in half, or minimize your portion and try to make healthier choices. After doing that you'll already have noticed a big difference in how you feel, and in your weights loss progress. Belive me, after doing this you'll never go back to unhealthy eating. It eventually becomes a habit. I'm now 17 and still to this day i eat healthier because of those controlled changes to my diet! You have to stay motivated, so if you'd like i'll do the challenge with you, having a buddy helps alot!.. Keep me posted on your progress, so far i've lost 5lbs in a week.. but I won't start counting till you start!! Good luck! Karyne."

Everytime i say " okay this month i'm gonna loose 10lbs" or " i'll eat healthier" whatever the case is it never sticks. Up until this time... So far i've lost 7lbs in 2 weeks doing low carb, it's probably not the healthiest thing to do but it's working for me. For anyone that's just starting to loose weight and is still eating ALOt, like big portions, or junk food and stuff like that, start by cutting down you portion sizes, and limit yourself to ONE junk food day. Ex: Fridays you can eat chips. Other then that indulge in lots of fruits! Who doesn't like watermelon? honeydew? Kiwi's? Strawberies... etc! There's so much good food out there and all we do is resort to chocolat and chips! You'll never loose weight eating that crap haha. WEll enough for this post, but if anyone needs to talk, or wants more information on weight loss, healthy eating and exercise, message me or e-mail me! i'll be happy to help! ( btw i've lost 40 lbs so far since gr 9 )."

You start looking around and realizing your probably not as skinny as the other girls right? and u wanna start loosing weight and looking good, because next year is highschool! Well here's a few tips, just start exercising atleast 4 times a week 30 mins a day. Walking is the best thing! so if your walking distance from your school, do it instead of getting a ride! As for low carb dieting, you really have to be responsible with it... because chances are, if you stop low carb all of a sudden you'll just gain everything back, you have to gradually reintegrate Carbs into your diet. But as for what you eat, obviously stay away from, bread, cereal, rice, pasta, sweet, cakes, sweet fruits, carrots, potatoes. etc. anything starchy. For what you can eat, Fill yourself up on, salads, lots of cheese, chicken, steak, eggs, veggies. You have to remember that your body does need some carbs so try and stay between 30-40 carbs a day and u'll loose weight. If you have a sweet tooth one day have whipped cream!! SOO good and 4 carbs for 3 tbsp!! haha.. Soo good luck hope this helps!"
