Heather said: "Hello and welcome to Featherish, Katy. I think you look good just how you are :) But I know all about having a few extra pounds to shed! What type of exercise are you doing at the gym?"

Heather said: "Hey Valalor.. do you have a pic of yourself you can post up?"

Heather said: "How are things going Katy?"

UniqueMystique said: "Welcome to Featherish, Katy! :)"

DBrew said: "Katy you look really toned and beautiful! I understand wanting to lose some wedding weight, though. When I was going to get married I ate like nothing but salad and cereal for three months! It worked but was probably not the best diet to do. Good luck and congratulations!"

naynay said: "welcome...you look great....YOU CAN LOSE THOSE FEW POUNDS!!!:) "

klynnfosh said: "Just wanted to say HI Katy:wave: Welcome to the site. I agree with the others you look really great for having already had a baby. I think you should just eat healthy and if your body reacts by losing a few pounds then maybe you had a few to lose, if not then remember as we age we usually put on a few pounds and after giving birth we are really never the same as before, doesn't mean you aren't in shape, because you look like you are. Best of luck to you!!"

Diamond said: "Hello! Welcome!"

Valalor said: "alright, i might be a guy but hey, i know hot to get some spots toned with little to no wieght without gaining bunch of muscle.. by the way, you look. HOT!! i dont know much about diets though (im bad with food cuz i use to be a cook and i love to cook and eat) but anyways... some people may disagree with this but this worked great for us guys (and gals) in the Marines... For that tummy, just do some basic crunches, not sit ups cuz thats bad for the back.. All you do is lay on the floor, have someone hold or feet or put them under the couch or something. cross your arm on your chest like the sighn for I love you type thing then grap your shirt.. with your knees up, feet flat, crunch up till your elbos touch your thighs.. with this just do as many as you can, dont do sets with these.. for your umm, whats the muscle called in the front of your leg?? well anyways, crunches help with that, but also what we like to call flutter kicks.. again, lay down, put your hands under your but, lift your neck and shoulders up so they are just off the ground and take one leg and lift it while the other is hovering the ground, then bring that one down and at the same time bring the other one up and keep doing that. again, just do as many as you can, you can do sets on these ones if you like... for inner and outer thighs... "Hello Dollys" love that name.. same position as flutter kicks but this time both legs leve with each other just hoving the ground and then you open them up like your getting ready, umm, then close them and keep doing it.. feel the burn thats it for the legs and tummy... for the arms.. helps alittle but you will feel the burn on this one.. they are called sun gods.. stand up, feet shoulder width apart take your arms and put them leven with the ground out to your side with your palms up.. then go in small cirlces forward, they way we did the count is each circle you say 1, the next circle is 2, then the next is 3.. and that is 1 rep.. do 10 reps foward, then 10 backward, the put your arms so they are strieght infront of you again, 10 forward, then 10 back, the put them strieght above your head like yours reaching for the sky and 10 foward and 10 back.. these were my fav.. and if you're feeling adventrous, try some push ups :)... thats about it.. thats what we would do every morning as a warm up before we ran 3 miles. :th_coolio: *sniff* i was soo damn sexy back then.. :sad010: But good luck... hope that helps."

Valalor said: "what is that Google weight training, never heard of it... whats the site??"

help6363 said: "Sorry.... it's a bit late BUT WELCOME!!:) You are beautiful! I would recommend calorie counting (I think Lakelady already gave this advice). 1,200 per day. As for exercise, combine cardio and weights. Weights will not bulk you up. Google weight training .... it's amazing! Anyway...... WELCOME (sorry it's late!)"

help6363 said: "
what is that Google weight training, never heard of it... whats the site??
Sorry I meant type in weight loss training to the Google search engine. Check out the benefits of weight training! SORRY!!!!:)"

lakelady said: "Welcome Katy! I was where you are once, except I had 2 kids at the time. You're right, there ARE a lot of diets and I think I've been on them all! In your shoes I wouldn't try anything too complicated, getting ready for a wedding AND mothering a toddler. It would really help to know a bit more to help you find the diet most suited to your personality. Like what your stumbling blocks are (ex. sweet tooth? binge eating? boredom eating?....) but until then I'd start out with the basics. Try a diet of around 1200 cals a day. make low fat and low sugar substitutions for your regular foods where you can, stay AWAY from processed carbs AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. I know you've heard this 'til you're SICK of it (so had I) but drink at least 8 full glasses of water a day, even if you hate it! It REALLY makes a huge difference with the happy side effect of the AMAZING difference it makes to your skin! This is a great place for you to be, we have SOO many GREAT success stories here and you'll get ALL the support you could possibly ask for. Between us here WE KNOW IT ALL (grin) WELCOME! p.s. your pics are REALLY cute and from the look of them, you don't have very far to go! I lost nearly thirty pounds in 2 months here, so you're golden!"

**Shorti** said: "First let me say you are SO beautiful...and wow what great shape for being a mommie, honestly! I think you a bit crazy for wanting to lose more *L* but hey if its what you want....go for it. Since you mainly want to tone I would suggest just slightly altering your food intake, ween out the junk and replace with more nutritious options... and spend some serious time toning. I would also consider that at 115 in high school you may have been retaining more fat weight because of puberty, and now through maturing and baby production you have gained more muscle mass. I would just keep toning until you like what you see. Frequently we can tend to obsess about scale weight and that isnt always the best way to go. Start toning and you'll get results you'll love! There are plenty of online resources for weight training, however it is always best to consult a certified trainer. Sometimes instead of forking out tons of money you can buy a one time sessions to make a plan. Then it is up to you to follow through. Okay I have obviously talked enough, good luck and I'll see you around the boards."
