is there something wrong?is there something wrong?

Everyone is different, so what may work for your mom may not work for you. Pop contains a lot of calories and it is best to just avoid it all together. It is also a wonder on what you may be doing differently aside from that. Maybe you excercise more, or less. A change in diet always presents changes in your body.It is a number of things all together that will cause changes. Water is the best thing to drink rather than pop. You can flush out your system with it and it also is better for you."

Water is the best crave-free drink there is. Crystal light is something I switched to instead, it has very little calories but is thirst quenching. I am glad you have chosen to cut down on your pop, it is a very good choice."

A can of pop has about 140 Calories, so that could potentially add up. But if you are only drinking a couple of cans of pop per week, cutting it out might not make that much of a difference. What are you replacing it with? If you're drinking water or another noncaloric beverage, that might help you lose weight. If you're replacing soda with fruit juice or 2% milk or something, the calorie count won't change much and it won't make as much of a difference."

"

Qian said: "Wow, that's quite the question. I really don't know. But in order for us to make a conclusion you and your mom would need to be eating exactly the same things, but drinking different things. There are way to many variables also, to really say something. Are you and your mom the same ht, weight, bone structure, you are obviously not the same age.
I think the only way to see what is happening would be to know how many calories, and what type of daily activities were going on during the last few weeks. Maybe then we could see what is going on."
