Change your calories

DLT said: "That is a great idea. The diet that I am on pretty much ups levels for two of the seven days of the week and I have been on it for over 3 months and have never hit a plateau. I think the uping of the calories will help although that seems like a lot of calories to go to."

You have to trick the body because it gets used to balanced meals and excercise. Counting calories has caused me to realize just how much i put into my body and how much i need to burn off in order to lose weight. I keep to 1500 basic and I let it vary often. I also could not believe that some places I ate out lots at were so high in calories. I had 3 pieces of chicken, 1/2 cup fries and a tablespoon of gravy....I was at 796 calories. Insane! It pays to count calories, it also creates yourself some strictness about eating something that is not within your limit."

White meat has a lot of calories in it,And that is only one meal. My count for the day is around 1500 to 1650 a day. If you have one glass of pop, 16oz is 150 calories. so add 32 oz cup to the KFC. You are done for the day on one meal! That is why it is good to watch. That is an example of only once a month when I have take out."

Heather said: "That could very well help someone. If your body is always used to doing the same thing, it might react differently if you mix things up. I think that the same thing goes for your exercise routine."

It helps to have a good ballpark idea of what kinds of foods have way more Calories than you need. One thing about the KFC thing though...if you take the skin off the chicken, the Calorie count drops almost in half! Other little tips to cut fast food Calories: 1) Get diet soda, water, or unsweetened tea instead of regular soda 2) Don't add croutons to your salad 3) Ask for your burger with no cheese/mayo on it 4) Get a kids' meal if you can...the portions are much better-sized. 5) Order grilled chicken instead of fried. 6) Order soft-serve ice cream instead of regular"

Like she will eat 1500 calories for 2-3 weeks and then hit a platue where she does not lose weight and will move her calories up by 300 for 3-4 days and then drop them to 1400 and so on..she still eats healthy but moves it around.. It works for her so maybe it may work for someone else. I plan on trying it."
