You want to be sure that you're taking in enough calories to support your basic daily needs otherwise you might go into starvation mode and slow your progress.."

I don't think you are working out long enough/hard enough for that to be happening though. It's more than likely just your body getting used to the feeling of exercise.
When you work out, you stimulate your "fight or flight" response...you're "flying" away from the stress. So your nervous system does things to try and prep your body for exercise. Tries to empty your stomach, intestines (ever heard of runner's runs??), increases your HR, ups your BP, etc.
How'd it go today?"

You probably need a little more fuel to get you through the workout and if you become dehydrated you will feel weak and sick and your stomach."

Should I be worried? Do you think I just need to eat more before gym time? Why am I getting so sick at so little energy?
Why didnt it happen on Monday? The only difference is that on monday I had a nutrition bar at around 3ish, which was 170 calories. could that have helped with the sick feeling after an hour of exercise 2 hours later?
When I ran track in high school, I regularly lost my lunch during the early practices, my brother too. After a week or so it went away. But shorti, about half the time something like this happens to people, they have a little bug they're unaware of. Is there something going around where you are? Also, don't drink all that water immediately BEFORE you workout. That always makes me nauseous."
