Yogurt

DLT said: "I have a great recipe with yogurt. I buy the Yoplait light yogurts; get the Orange Crème, Key Lime Pie, Red Raspberry and Lemon Cream Pie. Place each container of yogurt in its own bowl. Mix in about ½ cup of fat-free Cool Whip into each flavor’s bowl. Blend each until completely mixed. Place a large spoon in each bowl. Spoon mixtures into a popsicle mold, plastic bowls, etc. Drop in each flavor, alternating until bowls are empty. Freeze completely and you have the best, guilt free rainbow sherbet."

And did you know that if your baby has thrush or a diaper rash give it some yogurt that has the active bacteria in it and it will help your baby's system get back in balance so the yeast will go away. It works the same as a woman eating it.[/QUOTE] I never knew that.. **stashes this info for later use** I like the Yoplait that is creamy. They have it in orange and vanilla flavors. Both are really good."

We have people over for brunch on weekends sometimes, and its so easy to layer yogurt, fruit and granola in a martini glass for a "side dish", its healthy, quick, and it looks so pretty too! You should give yoplait whipped yogurt a try, thats really light and airy also."

Cupcake said: "I knew that worked with women, but I never knew it worked with babies too. Neat."

Anyhow...I have never, ever liked yogurt...of any kind. I decided to try some that I saw last week. I love it! It's Dannon Light 'N Fit Carb Control. Total Fat 3g Saturated Fat 2g Cholesterol 10mg Sodium 25mg Potassium 75mg Total Carbohydrate 3g Dietary Fiber 0g Sugars 1g Protein 5g I've been eating it for breakfast...and for those of you that have seen my other posts...you know I'm not a breakfast eater! It's actually something light enough that I can keep down and it tastes great!"

UniqueMystique said: "I've tried just about every yogurt variety out there....this seems to be the only one that doesn't gag me. :D Weird how some things just aren't palatable."

Holly said: "I like non fat yogurt as a substitute for ice cream. I like regular yogurt, though, more than frozen."

Holly said: "Have you guys seen the news that people who consume low/non fat dairy products lose weight more quickly than dieters who do not? I'm not sure if it is the calcium or some other component of the food. Anyway, for those who enjoy dairy, it is good news."

Qian said: "Speaking of yogurt, it works great as a dip. If you take your favorite flavor of yogurt and dip pretzles, or apples, or bananas, etc. It tastes pretty good and makes the yogurt a little easier to handle."

Congrats on finding a healthful breakfast. I wish that my taste buds would cooperate. I still can't get them to eat liver either. ha ha"
