People can support you, but only you can do the work that's needed to get to your goals. :) What type of exercises are you planning on doing?[/QUOTE] You have to find it inside of you to make the change, no one can make you make the change. How to do it simply put; (just incase you've never heard of this before)<-most people have but I got to assume that you haven't Here it is. If you expend more energy than you consume and move! you will loose weight! that is unless you have a medical problem....I know it sucks hearing that it really does. So if it is THAT simple....what is the problem? Drive!, there is a certain time when you are truely ready to loose the weight... Some people say they are, and they think that they are but they are not. Many times before I found my drive I thought I had tried but I hadn't tried hard at all, and no one wants to admit that. What happens when we think we've done all that we can and not seen results immediately? we quit!, and worse...we loose hope! "I'll always be fat!"<-that is not true at all. So what to do, watch your calories, if you expend 2500 calories in a day....eat 2000-1500calories per day.......include some exercise, just a little bit and ramp it up as you go/feel you can do so. Be honest with your self....if you "cheat" say 3000 calories on a day, don't beat your self up, learn from it. Why did you eat that much, how can you avoid that next time it happens. Ex: Went to fast food with friends.......consumed 1500 calories in one meal, consisting of a double cheese burger, super biggie size frys, and a chocolate milk shake. Why: Because I was with my friends and I really wasn't thinking about the calories in it, and we were having so much fun, and now I feel bad. What will i do next time, before I even order I will have done some research about different fast food restaurants and know which items to avoid which items are not as bad to eat. My solution: next time when i go to wendys I will have a chili w.onions and 5 chicken nuggets, and drink water. OR....I'll have a salad with a very small amount of dressing and toss it to stretch the dressing and a baked potato with chives, no cheese, no sour cream and diet soda/preferably water. Its actually kind of fun figuring out how you can spend your calories for the day. Eating will sort of become a chore rather than a treat, because your selecting your fuel for the ultimate machine (your body) rather than selecting pleasure. When most people eat...they eat because it tastes good, they could care less what they are putting in their bodies... not you...not anymore! PS: I started my "lifestyle change", 2 days after my 23rd birthday. I'm 48lbs lighter today than when I started 10/12/2006, looking back I can not believe I did that...you can do that too =) one day at a time, time waits for no one -DrCOOL959"
