George Foreman Rotisserie

Heather said: "I used my Foreman Grill tonight to grill up some steak and shrimp. He has a couple of handy kitchen gadgets. I don't have the rotisserie grill, though. Qian.. Frozen stuff cooks pretty quick on it because it cooks both sides at the same time. You can make chops, steaks, kabobs, burgers, bacon, fresh veggies, shrimp skewers, just to name a few things off the top of my head."

Heather said: "One guy I knew had one of those Ronco Rotisseries. I don't think he used it very often, but he said he liked it. How long does it take to cook them?"

Heather said: "Nice! I know the Ronco had enough space to cook a turkey too. Gotta love innovation!"

Cupcake said: "I had to share this with you guys. I bought the George Foreman Baby George Rotisserie on clearance (Im a SUCH a sucker for kitchen appliances). It is so amazing. It roasted a chicken so well, it was like the best chicken I can remember having! Theres a drip tray at the bottom to drain out the fat that drips right off the chicken, so its low fat too. It also comes with a basket so you can put veggies and fish in it, and skewers to make kabobs in it. Its my new favorite kitchen toy. :D"

Cupcake said: "I make cornish game hens in the rotisserie. The baby size holds 2 hens. I just take the skin off, rub some basalmic viniagrette onto them, and then let them cook. They're good with asparagus and a salad."

Cupcake said: "It takes a little over an hour for the two game hens. About 2 hrs for a chicken."

Here's a funny story: Matt (my fiance) bought some really cheap hamburgers and decided to cook them one night when I wasn't there. He called me from the cell phone to tell me that he was making them and that they were 300 Calories each and 250 of them were from fat. I told him that was pretty bad and that he got ripped off, but he tried to make them on the GF grill. Anyways, he put like 2 of them on there and they shrank down to the size of silver dollars!! And the grease just poured over the grease tray and got everywhere!! :) From then on, I only let him put leaner meats in it. Just so y'all know...it really does get a lot of fat out!! :)"

Qian said: "Hearing y'all talk about this, I think I'll go buy a George Foreman Grill tonight and try it out. What is the best type of meat to cook on it? Any good Recipes that you've had and enjoyed? Does it cook frozen meat quickly?"

Qian said: "Yeah, I just got my Foreman grill today, WOOT. I'm pretty pumped about that. Anyway it is only the two serving one, but i'm going to upgrade in a little while."

Sassysurfnic said: "I have one too!!! I love it! I use it all the time. I like how all the fat and what not drains out of the thing instead of your chicken sitting in a pan with all the grease and fat. I think I will use it tonight for dinner :D"
