If only....

I just want to smack him. I feel like I work so hard and he barely does anything and manages to look okay (although, I have to admit, I do look better naked if I may say so myself). My coping strategy is usually thinking about how much more energy I have when I eat right and work out and how good I'm being to my body. To be honest, I do have a LOT more energy than he does. My other coping strategy when I get in a pissy mood is to go shopping. Shopping cures everything :) I don't even buy stuff and it's still fun."

I know gloomy november weather does make me moody. Maybe getting out around people, or joining a club or a sport at the YMCA might help? Keeping busy is a good way to forget about what you would rather be eating, and music or television while you workout is a good way to forget about what you'd rather be doing! Definitely, if you can make exercise into a group activity (walking with a friend maybe?) it seems like less of a chore. My good friend Mary Ann has been my workout buddy for the last month or so at the gym, and if anything, we both workout harder because we're very competitive! I hope it gets easier for you. Hang in there! :)"

I am gonna keep trying though,so wish me luck. My husband does the same thing yours does, Spectra, but he has put on pounds and is always catching colds.Seeing that is a motivator for me. I am also the worlds biggest shoppaholic! Even if I can not go shopping, I shop on line! It is a girl's best therapy. I am in total agreement! Unless, of course, one is going through a period of regained weight. Then that can be depressing."
