Heather said: "Tae Bo is a pretty challenging video tape. It really makes you have to move your body. If you are unsure whether or not you want to buy it, see if your library has a copy that you could borrow."

helplesscase said: "I've never used any of those videos, but there are lots of different ones you could choose from."

UniqueMystique said: "Yeah....Denise has a twangy voice and she's too darned perky!"

I also bought a Denise Austin workout DVD and although I think it's a pretty OK workout, she is really obnoxious. I can tolerate it if I turn the volume down though. I also like Cardio Boot Camp by The Method. There are 3 mini-workouts and you can mix and match them."

nattie said: "I am looking into Pilates to try. I am working on getting Windsor advanced Pilates but I am thinking of getting some of her other videos. I have debated on doing Yoga as well. Not sure. I have the FIRM workout videos. They really kick your butt. I like them but I need something a little less butt kicking till I can really get into the groove of working out again."

nattie said: "If I find something I will let you know. I have seen the MTV yoga vid but I have never tried it. Just doent look interesting."

Holly said: "I like working out at home. I don't any fitness equipment. I do have dumbelss and a resistance band, though. I like the videos I have been using (Debbie Sieber's Slim Series), but I'm wanting a change. I want something challenging that incorporates both cardio and toning. I'm in pretty good shape, but I need to lose 10 to 20 pounds."

Holly said: "Yeah, I've tried the older Tae Bo and liked it. I may get more of those. Since I've been wanting something new, but have been nervous about spending money on something...only to be dissapointed, I've bought 7 used videos from amazon.com. They're all cardio with some toning mixed in. They each cost about 70 cents a piece (on average). I'm hoping the humor derived from 1980's and early 90's exercise attire and music will get me in an exercising mood. Pilates is also nice. It can be very challenging, depending on the level you get. Winsor pilates is a good toning routine. I know Yoga also has many benefits, but I can't make myself stretch for more than 5 to 10 minutes. I don't have that kind of dicipline. I develop into a clock watcher."

Holly said: "There is a Yoga show on in the morning. I think it's on the Oxygen channel (Oprah's empire). I've never done it, but I've noticed it while flipping to the news channels. It seems very up beat."

Holly said: "Cardio Boot Camp, that one sounds like something I would like to try. I've never done any tapes by The Method. I wonder why Denise Austin is so popular if us regular folks can't stand the sound of her voice. There really is a line where perkiness becomes obnoxious and I've never seen her NOT cross it."

Qian said: "I used to do Yoga, it's not as intense, but a great break and really stretches out the muscles. It's a great way to break the monotany of all the other cardio workout videos."

Qian said: "I have the Winsor Pilates also. That is a great workout. Go slow at first, or you'll be sore the next day. My favorite excercise is the one where you roll up and clap your feet and roll back. It's a blast. I always end up laughing when I do this one."

whateverhobb said: "I have Tae Bo as well. I wonder if the new ones are any good, I have the old one. Does anyone know how much calories you burn with this?"

Sassysurfnic said: "I have Windsor Pilates Advance Body Slimming. It's a great DVD. It's only about 25 min. long and it gets right to the routine. None of this 10 min. intro everytime you pop the thing in :p . I do the routine every morning(lately I have been slacking though :o ) I also have MTV's Yoga. I find it to be VERY boring. I haven't found a good yoga routine that I like that I stick with. If you find anything exciting let me know please!!"
