Yum said: "Hey guys! I was getting kind of bored with the current boards so I decieded to make my own. (Again!)
I have some great recipes that I am making for Easter!
I believe they are low calorie because that is my main focus right now :p
1.) Cinna Ball: Low fat:
3 cups flour
2 tbsp baking powder
1/4 tsp kosher salt (kosher salt has half the sodium of regular. Did you know that?)
1 cup skim milk (you can't taste the difference in recipes
2 tbsp cinnamon
1 egg white
1/4 brown sugar
*Preheat oven to 450o this will take a while!
1.) Combine flour, baking powder, salt milk, sugar, egg and cinnamon. Mix well!
2.) Make a 1 tbsp ball and roll it into the cinnamon. Place on pan. Repeat until all your batter is gone. Bake for 10 minutes.
Okay, so they are not low calorie. But where does it all come from???
78 calories per ball???? Hmm...mystery...
Oven Fries: Well, they are not as bad for you as regular!
I don't really have a recipe for this but I BELIEVE you cut up two large potatoes, coat them in oil or no cal butter spray and bake at 350 for 40 mins? Does that sound right? Well, check on them a lot!
They have no cholesterol!
Umm...what else, what else
I will post more later.
Also, I have a question. A lot of the snacking recipes I make use butter, and I was wondering how bad that is for cholestorol. Any great substitutes?"
