GreenEyes said: "Awww, thanks HDales:) I still have my bad days, like the other day I stepped on the scale and was up 4lbs. Oh well, I still feel good and can still wear my size 10 jeans. I've been so stressed for the past two weeks, with school and family, I think thats what did it. Oh, and a few bad food days:o
It's now been three days since my last scale visit. Thats good for me...lol I'm going by feeling now, not weight. I will do this!!! I will make my goal!"
GreenEyes said: "missq32,
I don't mind you asking at all. It's taken me over a year to reach this goal, and I still have a few pounds to go. My next goals are to tone and just live a healthy life! When I first started, I wrote everything down in a small notebook. I even carried it in my purse everyday. I tried to not limit myself to one calorie intake eachday. One day I would do 1200, the next 1600 and the next maybe 1400. My calorie range was 1200-1600. Some days I would go over that and say oops and start over the next day. Healthy eating habits were the main thing. No fried foods, whole grains and not white "fake" products, not a lot of sugar, upping my water intake, taking a multi vitamin, eating vegies and fruits, high protein foods and most of all.....never going without food for long periods of time. The workout thing is one of the things that I still have to work on. I bought a Gazelle and worked out at least 3 times a week for awhile but have been lazy these past few weeks. I'm not sure but it seems that if I worked out really hard for a few weeks and then took a week off my body would lose a few pounds? Not really sure how that all worked, but it did. The BIGGEST thing that I can say is.....don't stress over losing weight! Just relax and let things happen. Work hard, eat healthy and be good to yourself. Just be happy!:)"
GreenEyes said: "I have been in a real bad mood for the past two weeks......not really sure why? I took my daughter shopping to get some clothes this past Saturday. We had a blast! We ate a healthy lunch, talked girly talk, and just had so much fun together. She found some jeans that fit her just right. She is 10 years old and has an inseam of 19inches.....so finding jeans that fit around her waist and the inseam is REALLY hard. Not really sure why I tried on these Levi jeans in the store but I did and.......they are a size 10! And fit! So I'm at my goal size and now I just need to tone up more and learn how to maintain my weight. I have been told that maintaining is just as hard as losing. I'm no longer in that bad mood!:p"

HDales said: "I was sitting here in my depressive slump that I have been in for the last couple days (I gained some weight back) eating a box of smarties(which I am aware won't help).. I read your post and it really inspired me so I threw away my smarties and made a vow that I WILL GO BACK TO THE GYM TONIGHT.
I gained close to 5 lbs in the last little bit.. and I refuse to update my ticker that I have here because a) that would be super depressing and b) I WILL GET BACK TO THAT WEIGHT.
Anyway thanks for sharing.. You are an inspiration to us all!"

It looks like I am beginning close to where you began and our goals are not that far off.I have an Ab Lounger and a bicycle. I exercise every other day and do see a little improvement. Anyhoo, noticed you were real close to your goal (CONGRATS), and I was just curious. Hope you don't mind me asking."
