I'm finding it very difficult to work out since I have two jobs. I just need to realize that ecen if I only work out three days a week, that's okay. It's better than nothing. I know I can do more if I try harder. Even if I just walk for 30 minutes on the days I don't go to the gym.
I just really want to get down to goal. I was originally hoping to reach it by the end of this year. I have modified my goal. I'm going to shoot for a loss of 1 lb per week, which will put me at goal on July 1st of next year. It seems like so far away.... But maybe I'll reach it sooner if I do lose more than the 1 lb on some weeks.
No matter what, I will stick with it! Well, gotta get to bed so I can run in the morning!"

I'm expecting a high weight loss this week, since it's the first week I am back OP. Then I am hoping for just a 1 pound loss per week. More would be great of course, but 1 lb per week will get me at goal by July. That is all I want, and I think that it is a very reasonable and acheiveable goal.
I'm going to the gym over my lunch hour today to do weights, and will do my taebo dvd when I get home tonight."

And I managed to get out of bed and go to the gym before work today. I did week 1 of the Couch to 5K program, even though I'm not officially starting until next week. It can't hurt to practice! I did really well. It was difficult, but not too difficult. Then I did 15 mintues on the elliptical machine. Which, oddly enough, was harder than the running! Weird!
I'm eating my salad right now, with chicken, hard boiled egg and ff ranch dressing. This afternoon, I'm going to take a 30 minute walk over my lunch hour. I usually just surf the internet on my lunch hour, but I also surf it all day long while I'm working! Like right now! So, I am going to make sure I walk or go lift weights each day instead."

I am very happy to be back into full gear. I work full time and got a part time job a few weeks ago, so finding time to work out has gotten much more difficult. Mostly due to lack of trying, I must admit. Yes, I am working 60 hours a week, but that is no excuse to jeopardize my health.
I just do not feel good when I don't exercise! My sleeping habits began to creep downhill again. I have to exercise! I want to exercise!
GOALS:
30-60 minutes of cardio, 5X per week
Weight lifting, 3X per week
Very acheivable by going in early to my full time job to use the gym before work. I just need to learn to get out of bed instead of hitting snooze! I can do my weight lifting over my lunch hour.
Also, I am going to start the couch to 5k program next week. I tried it once before, but this time I really want it bad. I want to be a runner.
And last, but cetainly not least: I am going to quit smoking. I cannot run and smoke, which I think was my big problem last time I did C25K. I'm not even a heavy smoker, but it doesn't matter. Smoking is gross and it is not good for me.
So here it is, in black and white. I just need to do it! And I will!"
