Eye issues?!?Eye issues?!?

I got one only once in my life and wouldnt you know it, it was a few days before my wedding. My eye looked sooo bad. I was really worried!! But I used some stye medicine and it was gone just in time!"
Heather said: "Sounds like a stye for sure.
You can get these if a simple irritant gets in your eyes. On the 4th of July we went to watch some fireworks and I got some *stuff* in my eye. I got a stye that lasted for a while after that. Like mahesh said, use a warm compress and don't squeeze it!"

They make an ointment called "Stye" or something like that...put a little of it in your eye and it helps get rid of it really quick plus it lubricates your eyelid so it's not as sore. Hope that helps. Those sound like a very painful problem."
summerblue said: "Sounds like a stye to me also. Years ago I had a problem with them. Went to the eye doctor and was told to use a hot compress, which didn't help. I kept getting them first in one eye then the other, it was driving me crazy. I then went to my good old family doctor, who gave me a script for antibiotic eye drops and that took care of it. I haven't had one since."

LOL I guess that I need to read posts better! Hummmm..I have no clue what could be causing it if you don't wear makeup? Do you have alot of dust in your area? House? Car? Workplace? Maybe your eating something that is causing it?"

About every couple of months I will get a "sore" in my eye or right there on the eyelid edge where my eyelashes come out. I have pried my eyelids open to see up in there when it's inside and it basically looks like a zit in my eye...and is very sore :( When they're on my eyelid they look about the same, small and white and very painful. Do ANY of you know what could be causing this?! I'm sick of dealing with it. I feel like I have something in my eye quite a bit of the time when I actually don't and my eye gets dry...so I'm thinking I have dry eye and could use some of those drops, but can dry eye cause the sores in my eyes as well?? I know ya'll aren't doctors but I'm hoping someone at least has a good idea for pain relief.. If I did want to see a doctor would I need to see a regular doctor ya think, or an eye doctor? Thx guys :)
Oh, and I don't wear make-up...just so ya know I know it's not a problem from having make-up with nasty bacteria in it."

There is the over the counter product that should help and the warm compress is the best to relieve the swelling, do not what ever you do try to pop it, because you can spread an infection to your eye. It should go away in a few days, but if not you will need an antibiotic eye drop to do the trick. Hope it feels better soon."
