Bagels

Besides, there are so many different things you can do with bagels, they also can be sliced and baked with herbs to make great croutons or you can make bagel chips, much better than some greasy potato chips. I think if you can get buy any meal under 300 calories - you are doing good. The diet that I am on lets you eat bagels, among other things. Check it out at http://home.earthlink.net/~the-fat-race You don't count calories, carbs or fat but the way it is designed, I think it puts you a limits for all of these things and you don't have to count up everything. It's really worked great for me, my whole family is on it and I have lost 30 lbs. since 1/3/05"

Henrietta said: "Are they "bad" per se? No. But check out the nutritional content of them and see if it's something you can eat on your eating plan. They are high in calories, and high in carbs, so you probably won't be able to eat a ton of them. But one in the morning of the whole wheat kind doesn't sound like too bad of a deal."

Holly said: "I've been wondering also. I eat ones labeled "whole wheat", but I've noticed they have 260 calories per bagel. They are filling though."
