Low Carb wrap at SubwayLow Carb wrap at Subway
Heather said: "I felt like grabbing something quick, but low in carbs so I stopped by Subway and picked up one of their low carb wraps. The one I tried was a chicken/bacon/ ranch wrap. I got a veggie lovers salad to go with it.
..It was good! and I didn't feel guilty either. A tortilla wrap has a lot less carbs than an ordinary bun or bread. I think it contained around 7 carbs."

Usually grilled chicken breast is what gets served up. Or turkey sausage.
Steamed lil trees and white trees, too.. Plenty of salads..
I have been keeping an eye on the fats, as well.
It has been working out pretty good so far."

Razor said: "I was about to say the same thing. Although that particular fat is low in carbs. The following is what I got off the website:
Chicken, bacon, ranch melt (with cheese)
Calories - 440 (240 calories from fat = 55%)
Fat - 27 grams (10 grams saturated = 37%)
So 55% of your calories are from fat. 20% of them are from saturated fat. I would seriously stay away from these things. If you get a wrap then put all veggies in there, add some vinegar and some salt and pepper and be on your way.
SnapPea,
I am now living a low carb lifestyle, and I am loving it. However, I do not follow the Atkins diet. All of my fat intake is from Canola oil, fish, almonds, etc. These are all unsaturated fats. In my opinion you are setting yourself up for failure if you live a low carb life but endulge in fatty meats and cheeses and so forth. Remember that fat grams have 9 calories per gram compared to protein and carbs 4 calories per gram. If replace carbs with fat then you are immediatly more than doubling your calorie intake."
