other people have told me its ok. i need an answer to this, if its true that it is killing me i will lower it to below 1/gram per pound.
i have been eating 1 to 1.6 for past 6 months i have lose 87 pounds.
my carbs are plenty between 40 to 50%, my fats are 20 to 30%, protein between 20 and 30%
any tips or ideas will be greatly appreciated.
why do people sabatoge my efforts in my bodybuilding journey, are they jealous? GRRRRR i live with very heavy people in my family

I get the same thing sometimes with my family. Since you're athletic, 1-1.6 grams per pound of weight is absolutely fine. You could even go with 2 g/lb because you're a guy. I actually shoot for 1.5 gms/lb because I'm pretty active. Most women should aim for about 1 gm/lb.
So tell them you aren't killing yourself with protein. Now, if you were taking in 5 gms/lb (I've seen people try it) you could make yourself sick, but I think you're doing fine."
