All I did was buy a new journal for my successes and trials and asked the gym to put a new star up and tear up my old check in card. I did not want to look at my absentee list forever. Just give yourself a day of rest. It sometimes is better to play and relax one day out of the week. I see you work and go to the gym. You are active. If you go over to eat, eat a smaller portion. If you drink, you could have one or two drinks but water imbetween. You sound like your doing good! Don't ever kick yourself for one day of slipup, just get back up and try it again."

It is a lot easier to skip it some days, but then each day that you skip holds back any progress you may have made.
If it becomes a part of your daily routine, it seems harder to just make up an excuse to not go.
Keep up the good work!"

Have just one serving of the stew, and limit the drinks to one or two.
Get back to the exercise tomorrow and have a good time this eve!"

I finally had to decide that I came first. Doesn't matter who is sick or who has a problem....I have to make at least an hour a day for myself. Do I love or care about my family and friends any less? No....but I care about myself too. If you don't take the time for yourself....you won't be any good to anyone else. Do this for yourself! Find a way to get the workout in."

I had done jogging 3/7 days the previous week as well. Tuesday my fiance took me out for chinese food, and I just felt drained and lazy afterward. So I decided to take that day off. Last night I totally planned to go, but I had an appointment after work until 7:00. I got home and made this really cool supper of souvlaki with greek appetizers, etc. By the time that was done it was 9:20 (I had to go to the store and get missing ingredients). My gym closes at 9:30!!! So I managed to eat healthy but didn't work our AGAIN... Today is St.Paddy's day and we're supposed to go to our friends' place for irish stew (fattening) and then go drinking.
I just feel like this always seems to happen and that's why I can never stick to this exercise thing...
How do you guys get past all these everyday things and manage to do it on a regular basis?
I have tried it in the morning by the way and I can't do it. I simply cannot drag my butt out of bed that early..."
