probably not a difference

As for diet soda, I drink one a day, along with 2 cups of coffee and then just water the rest of the day, and I have seen on the news now that even diet soda and coffee can count towards your water goals as long as that is not all you drink and you do drink some water with it throughout the day."

The example I can give you, is Splenda...it says 0 cal but I actually found out there are 4 calories per packet. I know it's not a lot but i dont see why dont they just put it right on the box! Anyways I dont think that drinking diet soda will affect your weight at all unless you drink like a gallon per day!...however it may have an influence on your waist inches as it means your stomach will be full of gas so you will be "inflated"...hope this clears things up a bit"
