Then it will drop quickly meaning that I did actually lose 1-2 pounds a week, but it didn't show on the scale until the third week. Try to stick to your plan for a whole month and see what happens!

I measure: around the chest, around the arm, around 2 inches above belly button for waist, around hips below belly button, around the leg, and around the ankle.
I do this once a week and notice changes. If you use a scale it shows a slow progress.
Try not to kick yourself the slow weight loss, the more you keep active and control your food intake, the better and less of a struggle it is. The first thing I targetted is my sugar, salts, white bread and pasta. I have not cut them out, I cut them in half. I eat what I want but in smaller sizes. I know what it is like to feel crappy about nothing working and plateau's. Don't focus on it so much and just move to the music. Wear a walkman and go for a nice walk, you will be surprised at how far you can go on a good beat. I wish everyone luck in their goals.
I am down 6 inches as of last weekend count. I am down 6 pounds."

Are you keeping track of what you're eating?"

Same thing with foods....our bodies can start storing for rainy days because it can think that we are starving it. Change things up for a while....I'd bet you'll see some changes if you do. :)"

I feel good and i know that muscle to fat ratio but it is getting hard not to give up when I don't think that i am moving forward. I do not want to quit this. I will not quit i just am flustered but if weight loss and dieting were easy noone would need to be here right!"
Razor said: "Iowa,
You need to throw that scale away. Go by your clothes and how you feel. I mean are your clothes fitting differently? Has your jewelry oddly gotten too big? These are things you need to be looking at. If you are lifting weights then nine times out of ten, you have traded fat for muscle, and that is why the scale has not moved. You could have lost 5 lbs of fat, but at the same time put on 5 lbs of muscle. This would not make the scale move. Patience is so important in your endeavor. Please remember this. Just do not give up and tell yourself that you are closer to the end of the tunnel than the beginning."

So since all those changes are taking place, then find out what is making you frustrated. It's the scale not moving right? So quit getting frustrated by either throwing your scale away or put it in the attic."
