Infact, the whole reason I made the site was for this music label who wanted a press kit from me, but I couldn't afford to do one up. I still wanted some proffessional way for them to see who I am as a person/musician. I never heard anything for ages. But then I got an email this week from them. Apparently they never got my email, nor my followup email. So I sent them the link again, and they got it. The head honcho guy wrote back tonight saying that he would present my website to their team tomorrow and get back to me. How nervous am I? ahhhhh...I hate waiting. That feeling of not knowing whether your life is going to change dramatically as you know it, or you're going to get another rejection. It's the worst! My mother is an author. Some of you might even read her stuff. She writes for heartsong...inspirational romance...pen name Linda Ford. She's been quite successful at her writing with, close to 20 books published. infact just yesterday she said someone saw her books at Costco...not sure if it's called the same thing in the States..which apparently is a huge achievement. She told me she can totally relate to the waiting game. She said, sometimes not knowing is better than an outright no! Anyways...don't know if any of you caught Oprah yesterday. They featured that new flick about the spelling bee champion. In the promotional, the main lead says one inspiring quote that I haven't been able to get out of my head. "People's biggest fear isn't their inadequacies, their biggest fear is knowing that they have the power in them to impact the world." or something close to that. I've really pondered that. What's your guys thoughts on that."
