What will they do next...

Heather said: "That's the complete opposite of here, Unique.. we have like 100 restuarants within the driving distance to your boundary line.."

Heather said: "Makes it a lot harder to "cop out" on dinner and just order out.."

UniqueMystique said: "Guess I'm one of the lucky ones. :D No one delivers to where I live. You can order a pizza and drive 10 miles to their delivery boundary. If I'm gonna do that...I might as well take the drive into town and let someone wait on me in the restaraunt. ;) What I love is getting coupons in the mail for restaraunts that aren't even in this area. Gee....let's drive 150 miles so we can use this buy one get one free coupon. *Rolls eyes*"

UniqueMystique said: "Well...we have a few mom & pop establishments closer to us...but they don't deliver. The only places that deliver food in this area are pizza places and they won't go outside a certain boundary. The plus side of country living. ;)"

UniqueMystique said: "Yep...that's true. What stinks though is when you want to make a certain dish and you've started preparing it and realize that you are out of an ingredient. You can't just run up to the store and get what you need. It's a long drive. So....you improvise. :D"

They are usually WAY too greasy and they do stupid things to the crust. (Like we really NEED pepperoni pizza to have cheese inside the crust too). What I do sometimes if I want pizza is go to a pizza chain place and buy just a ball of dough (they will sell it to you and it's very cheap) and go home and make my own pizza with good tomato sauce, lots of veggies, and just a sprinkle of cheese (parmesan, of course). It's a lot better than any pizza you can order. :)"

Scarlett said: "Yep, that seems to be the way it is with those big companies... Coupons or anything like that doesn't get my like the commercials do...in fact I don't even think the pizza looks all that great b/c it looks so greasy ewwww. And the fact that I've been to Italy, and after having real Italian pizza Papa Johns is freaking disgusting!!"

shy_doll said: "Alright this is just to vent some frustration towards pizza chains...One in particular...Papa Johns. I got up this morning to see my husband off to work, like usual and as I saw him out the door something hanging on my doorknob caught my eye. I took it off and it was a Papa John's door hanger saying "Your neighbor ordered a Papa John's Pizza, so we're rewarding you with Papa John's coupons." Give us a call! C'mon now...like they don't advertise enough already?!.I know I can pick up my phone at anytime and order some good ole greasy pizza. That's a wonderful way to start the day, when pizza is one of my biggest temptations. Heck, in the near future they may start bringing samples when they deliver to the neighbors or how...anything to get you to buy so they can make another buck in an already booming business."
