heres what you need:
olive oil
1 scallion.
1 tbsp unhulled sesame seeds
4 skinless salmon fillets. should be about 1 inch thick at thickest point.
ginger to taste
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp maple syrup
3 tbsp soy sauce
1 1/2 tbsp brown rice vinegar
mix soy, rice vinegar, maple syrup, lemon juice, and ginger in a bowl. Mix well with a whisk.
put fish filets in a glass baking dish and cover with marinade. put in the refrigerator for an hour.
preheat broiler. spray nonstick broiler pan with olive oil. place salmon (skin side up) on broiler tray and put the marinade in a small saucepan. broil about 4 inches away from the heat for 4 minutes. bring marinade to a boil and simmer for a couple of minutes. turn salmon, baste with the marinade and sprinkle with sesame seeds, and cook for another 4 minutes.
