First Day

skinnymini said: "I excercise 3 - 5 days a week. I started off by being able to only do so much. I am now comfortable with running on the treadmill for an hour at a time and at an average pace. 3 years ago I couldn't have done that. Now if I could just be so dedicated to my eating habits. I could really be that healthy person I want to be. :) Keep up the good work!"

cvalh said: "lol, Yum, no worries. I'm 5'5 and my goal weight is 140."

Leah20 said: "My first day exercising was yesterday. It just about killed me! I went on the treadmill for 15 minutes on speed 5. I did the stairmaster for 10 minutes. I did some crunches too. I only burned like 240 Cals. I read somewhere that to substantially lose weight you have to do 500 cals/ day. OMG... What do you guys think? Is this gonna get me anywhere? Because I don't think I can do much more. I'm 5'7 and currently weigh 142 lbs. I would like to be 120."

Leah20 said: "I get the feeling people think i'm trying to make them feel fat or something. 140 is a normal weight for someone of my height. The thing is, I have a really small frame and the extra weight looks unhealthy on me. In highschool I was 105 lbs. I think a happy medium would be great at 120."

Leah20 said: "Thanks for the encouragement. Yesterday I did the treadmill for 30 minutes and went 2.2 miles. It seems to be getting easier everytime and I feel really good afterwards. I think this time it might actually be sticking. Leah"

Razor said: "Yum, You should maybe try this, treadmill like you normally do for 15 minutes, and then go do an upper body workout with weights. Next day just do cardio, and then the next do the same cardio, but do a lower body workout with weights."
