Heather said: "Everyone has to start somewhere. I'm glad you decided to join us.. What type of exercising are you doing?"

Heather said: "You're doing really good, Bunny.. Just try to do your best everyday to get your exercise and eat healthy. You can do this!"

meldives said: "Hi Bunny, Great work...keep it up:D Just a note about weighing yourself twice a day. your weight will fluctate during the day, depending on what you've eaten, if you've exercises and even if you've been to the toilet or not! So don't get down if you do notice that. I weigh myself twice a day, but the only number I am interested in, is the one first thing in the morning before breakfast. I will weigh myself in the evening before bed, but I make more of a game out of it to see if I can guess what my weight will be in the morning. A chart sounds like a great idea to help keep track of things...and it will show loses with your weight and increases with exercises so that's really motivating. mel"

Bunny said: "Well, today's the beginning of organizing & continuing exercise. I'll need your encouragement on this journey. I'll be 49 in May. Had my "reality check" yesterday when I found out I'm 160 pounds and have a fat index of 56%. This journey isn't just about weight, it's about connection with others. I'm looking forward to meeting you, too. Start off well with breakfast: cereal, skim milk, 3 oz OJ, 1/2 cup fruit. It's after lunch that's tough til 2:30. Already exercised. :)"

Bunny said: "I was doing 2 miles walking every other day, plus lower and upper muscle exercises (from a tape I've had). I upped to 3 miles walking yesterday. I need to chart this to see where I'm going though and add goals."

Bunny said: "I'm moving forward. Breakfast worked. Lunch worked. And now I've received the good idea from another writer about writing in my journal here when I think I may binge. Ha! Chalk up one for the group! Received some terrific ideas on how to handle "sweet tooth" and I'm excited. Going by my 164 Lb. weigh in, as opposed to health club and doctor office so I can have consistency. Need to remember to weigh in 2x a day. Need to sit down to work out the 5 meals/day thing and measure myself. :) Happy so far that I'm exercising and willing to commit for life. Funny when you're nearing 50 you realize how fast life goes and that you really want to feel good for as much of it as possible. The outer shell may need to be ironed, but I can certainly take steps to take care of the inside from here on out!:)"

Bunny said: "Thank you for the weighing in thoughts. I visited the TickerFactory, but I'm not quite savvy enough to figure out how to get it posted in here, which I would love to do. I filled out the information one day, and then looked at the site again yesterday. Maybe my husband can show me how to do it. The same with sending the link to friends about this site. I have some that may really benefit being here, especially a friend with arthritis. YOu guys are so encouraging! Today Yogurt and blueberries again, but that's okay = 140 cals together. I'll have to add more in a bit. I think the blueberries caused my body to let go of the water I've been drinking and holding since I went down to 161 1/2 Lbs. this a.m. Being on line yesterday got me through the "afternoon binging hour". What a relief. Tried on clothes after dropping my daughter at school. Yuk! Have to join her on a class trip to a food bank tomorrow, so fortunately everybody will be focused on that. Just so hard to believe how much I gained the last two years. Well, it's gotta go. So the clothes were a good reality check (even if trying them did make me feel a bit down, gotta remember today's LBs. off! Hooray, for me!)"

Bunny said: "Reminder to me to get motivated to exercise. I"ve done 3 miles each of the past two days, plus muscles. If I want the weight to go, I have to go! go! go! Looking forward to how much better I will feel as weight gets off and i can move even better. Time to exercise!"

Bunny said: "Thanks, SnapPea, for the encouragement. Something tells me you should be SweetPea! Have a terrific, Healthy day! Bunny"

Bunny said: "Breakfast today: 2 egg whites, 1 whole, scrambled in spray, 3 slices turkey. Thought I'd give this a go. Great job yesterday: Enjoyed another of my wonderful cinnamon/raisin bagel sandwiches w/veggies, did my 3 miles "Walk away the Pounds" (great if you have to stay indoors, especially since we had flurries in Pennsylvania today), AND survived having to eat out, at McDonald's no less!!!! Discovered their salads. Now to get my daughter on to this healthier choice, too. This a.m. Weigh In: 160 Know this is water, but it sure is nice to see!!!:) 4 Lbs. down. 25 to go. That doesn't feel so good. Okay, 164 to 160. Ah, better. Patience, Patience. Work out! Going to try a new exercise video soon, not sure if today. Maybe just view and review to learn moves. Bought TurboJam, so I'll let you know what a 48 year old overweight body thinks, once I try it! Ha! On my Fats or Sweets site need to add Breyer's Sugar Free Ice Cream. Diabetic friend told me about this one."

Bunny said: "Philly Bars sound very good. Will have to try and find them. Weigh in this a.m. - 160 1/2 Didn't exercise yesterday and SNACKED! Ugh! Old habits, need to change! Today did my 3 miles, plus weights. Still reviewing turbojam. Am I coordinated? Breakfast: yogurt, had to run SNack: Hot choc :( & 1/2 kashi bar Lunch: Thomas' english muffin (Honey) w/teriyaki chicken, spinach & onion/mayo on top. Water! Need to focus on goal of 1 Lb by Thursday. Won't happen by accident! Weekend coming and need to think through meals/exercise or I'll give in. It was Friday, but Sunday's coming!!!!!!!!!"

Bunny said: "Sat a.m. grab a banana and head out the door food shopping. Weighed before left, still 160 1/2, so after water's gone, I guess this is the real me to work with. Did do exercise 3 mile, will do muscles later this afternoon after lunch settles. I'm only just past 1/2 a pound to get out of the 160's. Let's go! Tried a yogurt, protein powder, strawberry smoothie this brunch. Pretty tasty! Ready for a sandwich for lunch. Tough emotions today, so deal with them and move on."

Bunny said: "Sunday. Good start to the day. Lunch good, but finished with a pastry:o Focus on water and finishing the day eating well. Scale 160 1/4 today. Beautiful day out, get out and walk!"

Bunny said: "Forgot to note I did my 3 mile walk yesterday. Giving my muscles a rest today, they deserve it. Will do a walk, though."

Bunny said: "Ugh! Last few days were NOT good. Last minute Easter holiday prep. (my own fault for not sitting down sooner and thinking), missing family, daughter home all week, birthday party prep, Baptism prep, menu prep., etc. I keep reminding myself that many of these are the good things of life, for now. I guess I'm a little tired right now and disappointed that I could do better. Live and learn. Haven't weighed in yet. Had salt yesterday and avoiding weigh in. I do feel the muscles in the arm and in my leg, and I know I have been doing good things for me. It takes time to change habits. Time to weigh in, pray/meditate on Word. It's going to be a fine day.......once I wake up! I CAN do ALL things through CHRIST who strengthens me.:D"

klynnfosh said: "I have heard the ice cream is really good. As for me I can't eat dairy, so I have found the Philly Swirl Bars and ices, and they are really good. No fat, no dairy but they do have sugar, and they have several flavors to add variety which is nice. They are my new nightly treat when I want something like ice cream."

tussled said: "There is a great site called http://www.calorie-count.com/ it tells you the calories in almost anything you can think of. Fruit is ausome, I eat delicous apples if I have a sweet tooth. They are only 70 calories for a medium sized apple. And they are really sweet. Food cravings can be really hard to overcome. But what I learned once is that a craving, no matter what kind, only lasts 15 minutes. So pop in an exercise tape or go walking!!"
