I have a wonderful idea?

It's impossible to say whether butter or margarine is better, because every few years new research comes out saying one or the other is better for you. I'd say they're probably equally bad, they just have DIFFERENT problems. (I go with butter, just because it's the "natural" one)."

I don't think skipping breakfast is a necessarily good idea, so it's better to get that 300-400 calories so your body can start the day. Butter or cream cheese is better for you than margarine. New research is showing that margarine is hydrogenated so it stays solid at room temperature, while butter is naturally hydrogenated, so there aren't the trans fats. Plus, it tastes better anyways. The best option would be cream cheese though...it's got protein in it, so it'll help keep you feeling full longer."

GreenEyes said: "Yes, that would be a great breakfast. You could also look for some whole grain wheat bagels and use creamcheese instead of butter. Maybe add a banana or some other fresh fruit? Creamcheese has less fat than butter and more protein and calcium. You do need to eat breakfast so that you won't get the dizzy spells and have energy for your mornings and early afternoon."

Eating in the morning wakes you up, kick starts your metabolism, and gives you energy for mental and physical activity through-out the day! I often eat a whole wheat bagel with light cream cheese for breakfast. I eat a cup of mixed fruit with that too :) Good luck!"

Cream cheese is awesome on bagels and I love to dip celery in it! I eat celery and cream chesse every day. And I personally like cinnamon raisin bagels plain... try heating it up and it'll be soft and warm and sweet!"

This way your body won't go into starvation mode and hold onto the fat. If you skip brekkie, when u do eventually eat, you body will store more fat than it should, coz it thinks its not gonna eat again. don't let yourself go hungry and your diet should be more effective."
