Anyway, I used to go out to a chinese buffet right after I worked out,
since they had one dish that was JUST shrimp in a light sauce. I had that
with tons of vegetables, no rice, and a few pieces of sushi. Note that
this plan only worked because I ran alot. Lol. I was also trying to eat
alot of protein (shrimp) so I wouldn't eat my muscle tissue away.

I eat out about 4 to 5 times a week. This is because of my children's busy schedule...not to mention my own with working out and work. We are often not even home until well after 8pm.
I do substitute...and when I get horrible looks from the waiters....I just tell them I'm allergic. ;) Works every time.
I usually drink iced tea or water. Sometimes I will have a Diet Coke if I've had a stressful day."

I typically order coffee. I just enjoy sipping coffee while we're waiting and talking. Once in a while, I'll order an alcoholic beverage, but it's SO much cheaper to endulge in that at home.

What do you typically order to drink when you are dining out? I only drink ice water with lemon. When I was groing up, very rarely did we have soda in the house. I have always drank water and I still pretty much do.

When we go to a hamburger fastfood place, I always get a salad with a burger and drink water. I don't even like the fastfood burgers, they dont taste good to me. I have noticed that many fastfood places have started putting a lot more healthier things on their menu, so that is good. We never get our kids the meals, hamburger/fries/soda. We tell them to pick two things from the value menu(usually these are smaller than the full priced items) and we have them drink water. They used to throw a fit over not getting those little toys in the meals but oh well.

2-3 times a week. I love eating out. Um, when I went out to eat the other night, I ordered a grilled chicken salad, and used half of my french dressing. Not too bad. Today, however... who knew a Reuben sandwich had 900 calories in it? :( It's my favorite sandwich. I also try to get something like soup and half a sandwich. Also, Subway's six sandwiches are always a safe choice!

Not really. But I try not to get the meals that come with fries... if I don't get fries, I feel like I'm wasting my money or something!

Coffee, tea, or diet coke/pepsi. I can't afford to drink anything with calories in it.
