Adding the weights is a good way to increase the intensity. So is increasing the speed. Also, do you do any strength training? Adding that will help you preserve your muscle mass. All of this equates to being able to eat more! :) I know that with my crazy workouts (I run 6-7 miles almost every day, sometimes more and sometimes less and a few days off here and there...plus I do strength training 3 days a week) I need the energy and I can eat a fair amount of food and not worry about my weight.
Keep up the good work! :)"
TryingToLose45lbs. said: "Good Morning Everyone! I did my Denise Austin 20 min video Fat Burning Blast and I walked three miles today with my leg and arm weights. I can't believe how much endurance I have built up in just almost four weeks (3 days shy of four weeks since I started working out). Going from 12 minutes my first day to one hour!! My problem isn't the exercising part, it is the eating right part. I do really well with fruits and veggies during the day but come 7:00 I want food food and more food!! I didn't eat anything after 7:00 last night - but not because I didn't want anything :( I guess I could have eaten a few more veggies but I wanted the goodies :D"

Brittany - I do something different now everyday (past week). I always walk at least 2 miles every day but I mix up my routine. I have a library of awesome tapes so I have been switching it up. One day I will do Denise Austin Blast Away the Pounds (she uses weights), then Karen Voight Full Circuit (also weights), then the other day I went ice-skating or I go to the gym with my girlfriend. My girlfriend also let me borrow her Tae-Bo tape so I am going to give that a try tomorrow morning. I don't want my body to get use to anything!! Sound good?"
TryingToLose45lbs. said: "Shelly,
Keep it up! I went from doing 12 minutes of Leslie Sanson's Walk Away The Pounds to 56 minutes (4 miles) and I feel great doing it! You will eventually build up your endurance I promise! I thought I might just die that first day but I eventually made it up to one mile (15 min. on her tape)...so on and so forth. Please keep me posted - would love to hear from you again!"

I also change up myself because I don't like to get bored with exercising I like to do so much I noticed when I do change up I do it more and longer. But, my think is now pilates and yoga love it now at first I didn't like it at all but, I like it now I started off slow with all the beginners exercises now I noticed I can do the advance workouts so thats good. I also includes my weight training to tone up my muscles and burn fat. Congrats and keep up the good work."
